Farming Popular Mats
So we all know that certain mats (stacks) create quite a lucrative farm for most people. But some of us have problems gathering them, whether it be location or build. So I have created this thread to form a list of possible farming locations for certain mats.
If you have any locations, quests or builds to contribute to this, please do.
COMMON MATERIALS:
Feathers:
Jaya Bluffs: SoS spirit spammer (any caster can do this)
Naphui Quarters: SoS spammer (again, any caster)
Kryta birdies: SoS spammer (any caster)
Iron Ingots: Farm max weapons and salvage them. Here are some places (HM)
Vaettirs in Jaga Moraine (A/Mo vaettir farmer)
Raptors (W/N Raptor farmer)
Other easy-to-farm mobs (trolls, hydras griffons etc.)
Bones:
Gates of Kryta (NM) (Any/Mo GoK farmer)
Jaya Bluffs, bones drop from the birdies as well as the feathers
^ on that note, Naphui Quarter as well
^ and again, outside of Lions Arch
Piles of Glittering Dust:
Gates of Kryta (NM) (Any/Mo GoK farmer)
Salvaging Demonic Remains, Phantom Residues and Demonic Fangs from Topk, UW and FoW
So thats what I can think of right now, I'll add some more mats later on as well as start rare mats, but if you have anything to contribute, please do.
Thanks

jaya bluffs can be done on almost any profession - ive done it using a fire nuke ele , standard 55 build on a non 55hp monk , 55 monk build , vwk me/rt and rt/me.And vaetires are also doable on a/me , me/a , e/me (several variations ) and mo/a and i believe w/n with bonder as well as in theory a n/a and a/n ( theory tested a/n and was very slow - different but slow as hell lol ).
Fahranur explorable nf in hm - i believe mo/d 105hp will do skales/undead for iron/dust and bones ( plenty of dead swords/dead bows and skel shields ) - the build i recall isnt standard 55/105 - uses ps,mystic regen , and sigs for dmg and you rely on ps/mystic to keep you alive. If anyone knows the exact build and would be kind enough to post i would be grateful.

Regarding feathers and Jaya Bluffs: I've used almost every profession to farm here in NM and HM. I have found the two most efficient methods to be 1) 100 Blades warrior solo with "while hexed" mods, and 2) Dwayna Derv solo. Both of these methods are more reliable in NM than in HM. And over time I have found NM to be most efficient when considering time vs feather count. The advantage for the warrior is you can use a tengu mod on your sword. The advantage of the Dwayna Derv is that hexes barely slow you down.
A spirit spammer works (like in most places), but it truly takes more than twice as long to kill stuff compared to the warrior or derv.
Oh, another note about Jaya Bluffs: Be sure to pick up all the blue armor drops. You will get quite a few Radiants, Survivors, Vitaes and Attunements, as well as other valuable minors like soul reaping, spawning, etc.

Jade weapons have a nice dust salvage depending on rarity so any farm done in the jade sea would be nice. I suppose that a spirit spammer would work of course but does anyone else know some good easy farms?

Everyone knows bout Starfish Focuses and Great Conchs.....but not everyone knows bout the merch fodder Blazing Wing Wands. Excellent dust salvage 90% of time....(80-120 per w/ measure for measure).

stones can go for 10-15k maybe 20k a stack.
Dust 4k, but you get 3-4 dust per stone so 1 stack of stones is 3-4 stacks of dust, dust is much easier too sell..
IMO dust is more of a profit.

any of those monster seed drops (they are all over tyria and elona) are easy plant fibers, considering merching them gets you between 8-30 gold, and plant fibers have been pretty steady 250-300g/10

Considering that it's a double lucky/unlucky chestrunning weekend event: dolyak prod staves merch to generous amounts of dust or iron. If you're chest running you should be getting a decent amount of salvage inscriptions - save them for the dolyak staves and collect stacks of mats per day
I forgot to add: this works for chestrunning in ice cliff chasms, I don't know about other locales.

My favorite.
If nothing else, it's nice to take your dual-riposte Warrior out for old times' sake

^^This^^
Easily one of the most lucrative locations for people looking to make a minimal investment in farming. With the stack of feathers, runes, and merch fodder. Jaya is roughly 10 to 12k an hour. You would think that the prices would have dropped drastically since this spot is so easy, but it has held steady.

Way i see it - as long as ppl want consets ( taking into account NOT everyone has eotn ) for speedclears etc then price of feathers isnt really going to flux that much. Also if people are too lazy to farm feathers themselves ( and we have to admit jaya bluffs isnt exactly the hardest farm for feathers going ) then they are going to buy and that keeps prices constant as well. Also even tho its a popular farm again we have to allow for players who dont have all campaigns + eotn like a lot of us - no factions means no jaya bluffs which leaves either caromi or skree or rare chance from some griffons.

Speaking of plant fibers.....using measure for measure on Bramble items (bramble bows, bramble blades) will chance yield 100ish fibers per salvage.

Also, most of the amber weapons Pong Mei can be salvaged for piles of dust as well. If the plants monsters drop spiritwood planks you have a 50/50 chance of getting dust or wood if you salvage them.
On a side note, is it me or are Great Conchs dropping less in the raptor farm? They used to drop for me all the time when I wasn't farming for mats. Now that I do, Conchs are few and far.
