Hello everyone,
So recently I started guild wars again (after a 2 year gap), and I understand that many farming locations have been nerfed within the 2 years that I've been gone (such as troll farming, raptors, etc.) I used to have a 55 Necromancer that farmed in the UW (I deleted him a long time ago), and I was thinking of making another one. Is the 55 hp farming build still working for the UW? Or has it been nerfed like many other locations? If it has been nerfed, does anyone know any other worthwile farming builds/locations for Necromancers? (keep in mind that I only have Prophecies and Nightfall)

Sorry for the onslaught of questions, and the long post. Also, I apologize if there are any threads that have any information on this. I've searched around, and I wasn't able to find any information. (If there are any threads which could help me, please post the link here)

Does it still work in the UW: No it does not. UW has new foes called "Skeletons of Dhuum" which will hit you for 100 in 1 shot, no matter what you have on you.
Other locations: Raptors are still farmable with necromancers, just run the W/N raptor farmer build on a N/W and put 16 in curses, not sword.

You can still use the old 55 necro build with spoil victor in a few places. Stone eles HM outside ascalon for granite/gems is one. But as Corpus said, it no longer works in UW.

What professions can still solo the uw then? Can Warrs and Eles still solo it?

I bet there is a chance that a 55 nec can still solo fow no?

Any proffesion can solo Underworld with a Perticular build.
It just requires a Elementalist proffesion, Although assassins themselfs can farm UW in HM or Nm but requires heros to Clear the First part such as graspings. Farming UW With a sin would possibly require conset(In HM) and could take a regular sliver build to farm Pools+Pits.

But No 55 necro can no longer solo Uw due to the Skeletons of Dhuum as Corpus Vitalis

Can farm all of UW minus smite crawlers and quests, and can farm tons of other areas. Obviously works better as a Rit primary though it beats 55 necro hands down except maybe in some specific areas.

Yeah Necro 55 still works but very limited in areas. Check wiki for the full details.

Thank you very much for the helpful posts.
Although I did delete my old 55hp Necromancer, I actually still have a level 7 N/Mo. Would you suggest that I delete him since he is basically obsolete? (I made him for farming purposes)

Would anyone suggest a good profession that is powerful enough to farm in the UW OR FOW? I've never had much luck in those places with my previous characters, so I qould like to start anew. Any good builds that would get me good drops? (Again, please keep in mind that I only have Prophecies and Nightfall, so now Assassins and Ritualists)

That's what cover enchantments are for. Shatter never stopped the necro build from soloing FoW; it made it more difficult. However, WoH has been buffed since.

personally - no dont delete the necro.
Necros dont only need to be 55 for farming - i recently had a bash at zhenlon fastfoot ( however spelt ) on a normal necro in hm solo and tho drops may not be great it was great fun.
Necros can also make great spirit spammers as energy isnt a problem , also in a few teams - say duo spirit spammers , they can provide extra dmg.Few of my guild used to do uw with duo spirit spammers and a ss echo necro and enchant strip and enchant dmg skills can really hurt the smites.
There is still a multitude of roles a necro can play in teams as well as a fare amount of 55 able places that can still be farmed and add to that quite a few bosses can be 55 as well - check the necro farm post for ideas.

You can definitely farm smite crawlers with that build. I find it a pain and that it takes far more time than it's really worth, though.
