Seitung Harbor/Jaya Bluffs (Feathers) - All 10 Professions
The [MOJO] guild (not bamboo crew, but we still got it) has posted ten different builds for farming Seitung Harbor feathers with each of the professions. Although the builds are heavy on PvE only skills, they are quite effective in quickly dispatching mobs and doing complete runs within 15 minutes (all normal mode).
I found the dervish and paragon builds to be the most entertaining to play. The paragon build is very unique, innovative and imaginative. The dervish post contains extensive details on how to farm the area (the basics). The other posts give a basic explanation of how to use the skills for each profession. The assassin build is quick and dirty.
The forum post is available for public viewing and be found at this link: http://www.my-digital-portal.com/gwm....php?f=13&t=14.

Good work, always nice when the non-farming professions get something to do. Is outside Seitung harbour definitely the quickest way then?

Yes, it is the quickest route to Jaya Bluffs. Make sure that you head north and east to fight the sensali. Try to avoid the yeti if you can.

Impressive work.
Though I must say I don't like the Ranger build you've posted. Half the skills are the same as I use but I'm in and out in 12 minutes, unless I stop to kill the yeti.

Care to share it? To be honest, it's not a difficult run. It's early in the game and it's NM. Still, it would be nice to know the quickest way.

All nice builds however I prefer to use this:
It takes about 12 minutes and you dont have a problem with health. just cast enchants, use spells 1,2,3 in order. If you get low on health then use an enchant.

Feedback Thank You
Thanks for the feedback everyone especially on the Ranger build. I'm glad to share and receive that feedback in return. If you feel that somethings works better, by all means, post and we'll discuss.
After this post, I spent some more time going over the builds and found that I really enjoy doing the Dervish and Paragon builds, but the fastest build by far is the Ritualist build. This is because the Ritualist can take on several groups at once without taking too much health degeneration and damage. The Mesmer has the same capability as the defense is solid.
What makes the Paragon build so fun is that only the Paragon can do it and its a farming build. That's a rarity. The fun of the Dervish build is the explosion at the end of the skill bar.

Ranger Build I use:
12 earth
14 Wilderness
The Rest in Expetise
Troll Unguent
Stone Striker
Storm Chaser
Glyph of Elemental Power
Sliver Armor
"By Ural's Hammer"
After Shock
Shockwave {E}
Basically cast them thar skills in order, cast 1 thru 4 then pull cast 5 thru 8 as they mob, recast skill 1 and the mob is typically dead, depending on if a Darkfeather or two stayed back, if so recast 7 and 8 on recharge to kill straglers.
I use Earthbound Armor and Earth Staff with a 20% enchants mod. Like I said, 12 mins, but I DO NOT cross the pond where the Ranger yeti boss is to get the pond mob and the one across the pond. It adds 5ish mins to the run and I don't feel thats worth it for two mobs.
Total run is 16 mobs I think, not counting yeti which I skip because they don't have feathers, but they can be killed easy enough with this build if your into that sort of thing, I'm not gonna cast judgements on anyone I mean if you like to kill yeti and thats your thing, some people may think it's not right but hey, you interpet the bible your way ya know, to each his own.

Here is an ele build that doesnt require an elite.
Aura of restoration
earth attunement
stoneflesh aura
crystal wave
tenai's crystals
aftershock
mystic regeneration
storm djinn's haste
took about 16 mins for a total of 83 feathers.
You need to cast both waves and aftershock and additional aftershock to kill them all. I might take something else instead of storm djinn's haste for faster killing.. maybe BuH

Just use the forum search feature -- people have been posting various feather farming builds over the last 2-3 years. Personally, I would just use a W/RT build but the one posted by CE Devilman looks interesting.

I just use a spirit spam build with some PvE only skills, in Hard Mode. It takes 30-36 minutes a run, you net about 3 times more feathers, and there's real chests, real gold drops, and tomes.
