UW Toucher Build Revisited
I've played around with the UW toucher build and have reconfigured it a bit in a way that lets you solo Bladed Aatxes.
So with this Aatxes and graspings are a cinch. I seem to stalemate with the smites, now though. This isn't really meant as a way to speed farm the UW, but I think it is pretty fun to see an Aatxe doing 6 damage to my Ranger.
So the way the UW toucher build works is you use Greater Conflagration to make all physical damage fire elemental damage and then you equip:
a full set of pyrebound insignias (+15 armor against fire)
a 'sleep now in the fire' inscription focus (+10 armor against fire)
Then you usually equip a totem axe for weapon, but for this build I'm using an axe with a 'heavy' mod to lengthen weakness duration and a max warding mod for an additional +7 elemental armor.
So total armor against fire damage is at 132. When you combine that with maintaining weakness on all attacking foes it becomes possible to keep ahead of the aatxes.
The usual toucher skills of Vampiric Touch and Vampiric Bite are used plus Unholy feast for a spike heal. I run Blood at 12.
You also need dwarven stability and storm chaser for energy and speed. You want to be getting 4 energy per hit from elemental damage.
The difference with this build is I use 'You are all weaklings' to spam weakness on Aatxes when they get near and the heavy mod makes it maintainable at Norn rank of 7.
I also use 'Finish Him' for a final spike that speeds up the kills. I'm not sure what I could use instead that would let me kill the smites with their current builds - maybe pain inverter?
If you use an armor of salvation then the run is pretty easy. Graspings do 0 damage and aataxes do from 16-30 per hit which you can easily stay ahead of with the vamp skills.
The armor isn't necessary, but you might want to use a caramel apple or something to raise your max hp.
I've stood up to 2 aatxes + 1 or 2 graspings at one time when using an armor of salvation.
Again, it may not be the most efficient farm, but it is fun to see.
