I have mentioned somewheres in this thread. But it is the only place I like to Chest Run with my sin. Get 1-2 per minute, and end up with about 50-60 chest/per hour. There is always some decent drops like Fellblades and Serrated Spear, which both can be worth a bit of extra cash.

I'd like clarification.
Is Fronis Irontoe's dungeon THE quickest chest per minute area in all four games? And is it the best suggestion for a wannabe grandmaster treasure hunter?

Also you can start in mihanu and just to the wester third of the map and see up to 3 chests spawn. Then restart in Mihanu.

Wrong.
There are NO areas in game that can spawn more than 5 locked chests.
For most areas in Nightfall the number is a fixed 5, but some can spawn hidden because of quests or other scripted spawns active in the area.

Did anyone else notice a a change in chest spawns in Ice Cliffs Chasm, just outside the Boreal Station?
There usually always is 1 chest by the wurms.. but the last 2 weeks I've been
lucky to get 1 every 5th-10th run.. :S
Maybe they've added some spawn points?

(Hey, you da man who invented 330 hp rit farming! Kudos to you for a great build!)
Finally someone who's not exaggarating. Yes, 50-60 per hour is the attainable rate. There are many useful mods and runes, and some marketable skins like Sephis Swords. For example, I was able to equip all of my Kahmus with +20% ench modded scythes, almost solely thanks to the CoF CRs. I found 3 Sup Vigor runes so far, out of ~2200 runs.
Many people who post CPH rates here "forget" about the time spent zoning and moving in the outpost. This isn't a big factor in a Mirror of Lyss/Gyala Hatchery run, but it's a big factor in a Boreal/Kilroy run. CoF is somewhere in between, since the distance to Gron is always short and the extra time is divided by about 1.5, the average chests per run.
I'm running with a Dervish, using this build:
D/P
Mysticism 15 (to get 12 secs of Pious Haste)
Command 10 (just to show you that there's no benefit over 10)
Spear with +5 energy and +20% ench
Command Shield with stance mods
[skill]Pious Haste[/skill][skill]Vow of Silence[/skill][skill]Feel No Pain[/skill][skill]"Never Surrender!"[/skill][skill]"Can't Touch This!"[/skill][skill]Remedy Signet[/skill][skill]Enduring Harmony[/skill][skill]"I am Unstoppable!"[/skill]
- Every skill is usable under VoS
- There is a window when you can renew VoS at will, instead of having to wait for it to expire
- Most effects are unremovable once activated, the others are usually unremovable by the mobs
- Constant KD protection and +24 armor with Norn rank 10
- You have +16 armor from a shield
- Total of 9 regen when it is really needed with Norn rank 10
- "Can't Touch This!" is against Headbutt in CoF, but it's not necessary on most other runs

Hi there,
I've heard before that CoF is a great CR place and decided to run this a bit, but I never got any chests...
I went as far as the first big chamber and the first locked door, no chests... do I need to go further?
I notice you mention Gron. Do you have any specific mission or quest active or is it just the simple dungeon run?
Is there a difference in the chest spawns between the Warband and Dungeon missions?
Thanks in advance.

Temple of the Damned is the quest that you want. If you go in using Warband of Brothers I don't think any chest or hidden will spawn.
If you have been going in under temple of the damned and not seeing any chest you have some really bad luck.

Thanks, guess I will just have to try some more... and make sure I have the right mission
And I guess from your reply I am correct in stating that the chests should be in the first few chambers, in addition to the big chamber, thereby not requiring to open any locks?

That's right.
There's usually one in the narrow passage to the first big chamber and then at least one
more in the first big room.

Well, after getting r5 on my ritualist there last night, it seems that there's at least one there for every go at it and in NM it only takes me 7 minutes to completely clear it. Could be even shorter if you just went straight for chest.

For all of you lookin for a speedy run, the Abbadons mouth run in Prophecies seemed to be the fastest for me at least. 1-4 chests in about 5 minutes.

Realm of Torment
Greetings,
My ranger is working on the treasure hunter and lucky title (currently rank 5 in both) and was curious if anyone knew of the best location for running chests in the Realm of Torment. I would love to get my hands on an inscribable Strom Bow. If someone wouldn't mind posting a map or providing any insight to the runs available, if any, for the Realm of Torment I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Yellow dots are possible Chest spawns, Purple dots are oni spawns, when an oni pops up, shadow form up and use dash, easy peasy
A run takes 5 minutes max, and you get 1-5 chests ( average 3+ )
Any Shadowform runner would do, I used Ranger/Assa, shadow form, storm chaser etc...
Hard mode offcourse

Cant get on GW at the moment, will make a "map" tomorrow..
Exit from GoS, turn right, there's a some kinda bridge, like a long black rock. Go over it. Theres a mob there, turn right, go pass the ress shrine and continue till you get at the water.
Ill make a map of it tomorrow, i get chests 1/2 times.
Ps. If u cant make it yourself bring 3 p/w or w/p heroes, with charge and fall back. Just a small hint for anyone chestrunning.
