Hexer's Vigor is a super Shadow Refuge. N/A with Shadow Form is simply the easiest way to do it.

Hey guys. I'm looking for a nice monk build for HM chest running. I'm running atm at Fronis Dungeon on NM, but decided to move on HM. What area should i choose? I heard Gyala run is pretty good.

Just wondering what drops you get in Melandru's Hope?? Also, can anyone post a route for a run in Melandru's Hope?? I'm a ranger so I'm guessing R/A Shadow Form dodger should work fine.

I'm a necromancer thinking about going for the chest runner title. Since Necromancers don't have great speed skills themselves, and N/A tends to be a bit faulty, what do you guys think about N/D with:
Dwarven Stability + Drunken Master + Mindbender + Mystic Regeneration + Pious Haste (maybe, but with maxed out dwarven it may not be worth it) + Vow of Silence/Avatar of Balthazar/Avatar of Dwayna (what do you think) + I'm not really sure what else.
In theory, with maxed out dwarven and asura I could see this build having constant speed + decent regen + great prot once I find out what other derv skills I can bring.
I cannot help but think that if this was effective, someone else would have definitely thought of it before me.
Thoughts?

Shadow Form, although requiring minimal practice to get used to, is far safer than Vow of Silence (or any other derv / necro elite for that matter), esp. on a necro. all you need to do is get used to how many mobs you can run by with one shadowform, and get used to how to find safe spots to heal up. a N/A also has thing like Shadow of Haste open to them, as well as Dark Escape + Feigned Neutrality to run by easier mobs. to be perfectly honest, i've used the N/A build (with some modifications) to run guildies and alliance members around - fitting in I Am Unstoppable for Droks runs, etc. - and for someone like me who doesn't run much, Shadow Form is easy to grasp and capable of some very efficient chest running.

You can FF and run "Shore" and "Stairs" by yourself, and have 2 sin heros do the rest... that way you can farm kurzick faction along with getting 1-2 chest a run. I usually run to the Rit boss and aggro to see if another chest will pop up, most of time there will be. So you can get 1-2 chest per minute along with kurzick faction point farming...
I always use A/Me for chest running. I am currently lvl 5 Elite Treasure Hunter, and this weekend I am doing some hardcore Golden Egg farming to work on getting lvl 6 Master Treasure Hunter.

I also have Shadow Form builds for pretty much all my characters so I can run myself to places. Shadow of Haste is definately recommended for professions other than Sin and Mesmers. Of course Assassin is best to have for Shadow Form and to work on Treasure Hunter as well as farming golds for Wisdom. I am level 5 Treasure and lvl 4 Wisdom (almost lvl 5)... and working on getting them both to next rank. Sin's FTW. Of course I have my own godly sin running build

Any prof can use a Shadow Form build. Something like this:
[card]Deadly Paradox[/card][card]Shadow Form[/card][card]Dark Escape[/card][card]Dash[/card][card]Death's Charge[/card][card]Shadow of Haste[/card][card]Feigned Neutrality[/card]
If you have Dwarven Stability and Mindbender, you can throw those in also to help on running.

if anyone's interested, ascalon foothills always spawns a chest on the opposite side of where you arrived. it takes about 1.5 minutes to get to the chest and then zone out and in again. so far, it's the fastest place i can think of to raise lucky title

Killer, no pic needed for ascalon foothills map as the chest spawns alternate. You end up running through the entire zone and simply grab the chest as you pass it.
Now that treasure hunter is maxed, the grind for lucky begins....

The reason people ran in groups was once upon a time , one person would open the chest and whatever color it was; it was the same for the group. Awhile back it was made random and this the group benefit was lost.

How about running without armor in Hard Mode Chest hunting? Possible, I think so.
I do it in GW:EN hard mode at Borel Station. Simply run to the Snow Wurms, who do not attack you, then open the single chest and map back. No armor or build necessary.
You will break 90% of the lockpicks though so great for the Unlucky title
