Blood Necro Build advice (Elona Reach Mission)
Firstly, I'm new to the forums, so hi everyone.
I've been playing my Lv17 N/Me for a fortnight or so, using Blood and Illusion Magic. Now, I've reached the Ascension trials, and am really struggling with them, particularly the Elona Reach mission. I'm just curious as to which skills would be advised for this mission. I'll list what I have set currently, it'd be great if you could tell me what would be better improvements.
Also, any general advice on playing Blood Necro in later stages of the game would be appreciated. Thanks! Anyway, here's what I have set currently.
1) Vampiric Gaze
2) Vampiric Touch
3) Life Siphon
4) Well of Blood
5) Conjure Phantasm
6) Unholy Feast
7) Awaken the Blood
8) Resurrection Signet
Any advice on better builds? New to the game, so I'm not great at choosing good skills yet :P
Thanks!
Edit: Also, got a horrible feeling Ive posted this in the wrong place, apologies if I have.

When i have done that mission i have just gotten a 'runner' and payed around 500-1k each time so i dont really know what type of enemies there are...if there are things that leave corpses i might suggest changing your build to death magic and creating bone minions/feinds (they help a lot) and also soul reaping gives extra energy when something dies which could enable you to use more skills..
for the build you are using i think you have good skill set - but for that mission you may want to change to death and blood, also put a few attrib points in soul reaping.
If nothing else works you may want to just pay for a 'run' through the mission...it doesnt take to long to farm that much gold to get it back. Good luck

Most people play through the game once before resorting to runs. The game was intended for PLAYING, not running. Advising someone to have a mission run on their first time through the game is ... well, rude?

I was not advising them to get a run........I was saying if they could not complete the mission using the skills they have and if they cannot find any other builds to work for them that it would be a good idea, that is why i first suggested changing the build.
Not trying to be rude.

The Elona's Reach mission is IMO actually one of the easiest acension trials once you figure it out.
The mission is more a stealth one where you try and avoid as many patrols as possible, knocking out the one or two that you can't avoid. You should be able avoid fighting any of the patrols at the entrance to each of the last two crystal areas.

I was playing a Blood necro at that point, but its been awhile; can you say, -specifically-, what you're having trouble with? Are you being killed too quickly? Not doing enough damage? In a bad group? There's also http://guildwiki.org/wiki/Elona_Reach_%28Mission%29 if you need a better idea of what to do within the mission.

I've actually managed to get the Elona mission done now. The main reason I was having trouble was that even staying back, I was taking a lot of damage, and/or running dry of Energy. Little annoyed that I forgot my Signet of Capture to get Order of the Vampire, But I can get that in another Ascension mission anyway.
Of course, having some players luring every enemy on the map didn't help matters at all, and people leaving mid-mission was kinda annoying too.
Now I just need to get Thirsty River/Dunes of Despair done.., shame everyone wants Warriors and Monks (I can see why, but it's making it hard to get a party with a N/Me).
Thanks for all the help- as for the Elite Skills, I'll get Order of the Vampire when I next can.

When working with parties I would recommend running curses. A curses necro (with spiteful spirit) can do far more damage than an ele, and curses tend to be more focused on overall damage. Blood builds are good for self-preservation, as life steal is very useful, but to help the party as a whole curses would be much easier for you.
(you may have to wait till you get to rankor (just after droknors, which is just after you ascend) to capture spiteful spirit, but I assure you it's well worth it

Well, finally got good parties for the last 2 Ascension missions, and beat Doppleganger on my 3rd attempt (using Sacrifice spells/Enfeeble.) The first two times he just kept attacking me melee, rather than using skills. Levelled up from 18 to 20 easily from it.
Thanks for all the help!
