Scars armor is the best for UW given its huge energy boost. Everything else is simply cosmetic.

Scars give you a slight energy boost, but the amount is negligible IMHO. I wear 15k Bonelace from GC for purely cosmetic purposes, but I have them loaded up with runes. So far, that's been plenty for me in the UW.

Full scars adds +17 energy -- this is hardly negligible since it lets you cast an additional SS without waiting for your energy to recharge. This also lets your necro take full advantage of soul reaping's mass energy generation when lots of stuff die at once.

I did a side by side comparison with what I have now, and I thought there was very little difference because each peice of my armor also gives me an energy boost. Then again, it may have been one of those late nights when I had been playing for too long. I would almost swear it wasn't 17. I'll go back and check again.

Yeah, it's a small difference more than what I have. This was just a little miscommunication. I meant that it's negligible compared to what I now have. Again, that's only my opinion. To many, a boost of a couple more points means a lot. So far for me, it's hasn't been an issue.

Sounds fair, but you have to agree: More energy never hurts

My necro runs 54 total energy and casts almost non-stop during UW combat.

no more energy doesn't hurt....but Scars Armor is soooooooooo UGLY....

Droks Scars= Ugly

I can be as negative as i want about the looks of scars armor.... seeing I have 15k Scars for my 55hp build but seriously, for only a small energy boost my 15k Necrotic is soooooooo much better looking... and YES, looks do matter!

UNLESS of coarse your ugly!

And I NEVER have to worry about energy with my Echo SS/SV build because I have 3 energy management skills!

I agree, scars look incredibly bad on male necro's, but they're quite flattering on female necro's (reminds me of lace):

I wouldn't wish any scars nor FoW armor (especially the hideous FoW male skirt) on any male necro.
