Default Am I doin somethin wrong?

Normally i play necro in pvp. Today I used my warrior in pvp and he seems weak. very weak, for some reasons when im necro it seems like warriors are really strong. This warrior seems to hit low, and im using monk chaser build, he just seems to be really sucky. im usin victos axe.

Well, warriors did just get a fat and unreasonable nerf in the last update, but that was all damage to you increases if I read correctly.

Name: Monk Chaser
Type: Competitive PVP
Category: Partially-Self-Sustaining Damage
Attributes:
Axe Master 12 + 1 + 1
Strength 10 + 1
Healing Prayers 8

Skill Set:
1. Penetrating Blow
2. Dismember
3. Axe Twist
4. Executioner's Strike
5. Battle Rage {Elite}
6. Healing Breeze
7. Mending
8. Res Signet

Thats your build yes?

Well...

1. Max your weapon attribute -> Axe 16

2.Strenght isnt that good as it only works when you use attack _skills_ and influences only the weapondamage, not the skillbonus.
So it's only useful if you use Strenght Skills (Battle Rage). Which leads to

3. Battle Rage. Not a bad elite, but there are better ones.
If you want to use Axe, pick Eviscerate for a nice 180 damage spike.
You can now kick dismember, and take in a sprint skil (sprint or rush).

4. kick Penetrating Blow and take some IAS (Improved Attack Speed) like Frenzy or Tiger Stance. You might want to change your secondary class to ranger for Tiger's Fury.

5.
Monks are monks and warriors are warriors.

Kick Healing Breeze and Mending.

Why mending? Because it costs one bip and only gives you 6 hp/sec. Thats by far not enough to survive coordinated, focused attacks against you, as the dps you then would suffer would be more around 30-60 .
Also, mending is useless when your health ist full.

Why Healing Breeze? Because you can just use Healing Signet instead, which allows you to use a better (more aggressive) secondary class.

...

Or to make a long story short:

The monk chaser is imo an outdated build. It seems to be built around Battle Range. "Oh no, if I use some active healing skill I end Battle Rage! Better use the leet mending!" Enough said.

It's _trying_ to apply pressure instead of really applying pressure and spiking (Basic Eviscerate Executioners Combo). It's just not enough for the arenas nowadays

Eviscerate is simply one of the best warrior skills and there is hardly a way around it as an axe warrior.

proposed skill set

Axe 16 , Beast Mastery 9, Tactics 10, Strenght 4

Eviscerate {Elite}
Executioners Strike
Furious Axe (if you have Factions)
Tigers Fury
Rush
Bull's Strike (gives you the 1 adrenalin which you spent for Rush -> Spike combo again ready)
Healing Signet
Rez

Note: Vampire is better than Sundering. You might want to use zealous upgrades if you choose to use Tigers Fury.

Also, a weapon with elemental upgrade agains warriors would be good, means less armor and no absorption for them.

I think thats enough, maybe i posted some confused stuff, but I'm kinda tired.

Tiger's Fury cancels out Rush's adrenaline and therefore makes this combination unplayable. I'd suggest Sprint instead.

I'd suggest using Tiger Stance instead of Tigers Fury. It's annoying to but alot of points in BM only to boost one skill. Focus on Strength and boost Tiger Stance aswell as sprint and Bull's Strike

I'd stick with TF. Tiger Stance isn't really useful against boonprots etc.

And what for do you need many points in strenght? If your target tries to kite, use sprint and knock it down. No need for long sprinting.

And if your target itself uses sprintskills, change your target.

Maybe its annoying to boost just one skill. But in my opinion, an IAS like TF is by far better than what you can get out of strenght (with this build). Of course you could take 1 point from tactics and putt it in strenght. Or skill Beast Mastery a bit less.

No, its just you got stuck in a caster mindset. Whenever I play my casters for long periods of time without dusting off my warrior it happens to me too. Warrior's playstyle is very different because you have to control movement to be effective. Casters just cast + kite.

A few things that might be worth mentioning for playing a pvp warrior for the first time,

1) As others mentioned, you are a damage dealing machine and you're wepon should be maxed out. Don't think about tanking. Don't use riposts/glads/dolyaks/mending/breeze/etc etc.

2) Your will be chasing moving targets constantly, speed bursts and a kd are essential

3) You need to charge your adrenaline and so need something like frenzy (tigers stance isn't very good because of the long cool down and the fact that it ends if you miss which can happen a lot)

4) Knowing what to do with your adrealine is crucial. Your should generally be spiking your target. So wait till everything is charged then unload it all at once. Don't waste it on one offs. So for example, charge your eviscerate and executioners and whatever else up, bulls strike or shock your moving target, then unload all your attacks.

5) Don't always spike the target you are chasing around charging adrenaline on. Charge up and switch off.

6) Watch your monk, and try and be in range of their heals. Don't run off into the blue.

Thank you for mentioning that, the 2 classes i play most in PvP are Monk and Warrior, I want to be able to dish out the heals if im gonna take them, but too many times i see this happen, a warrior is like: IM USING EVISCERATE!! OMG I HAX!! then after about 5 hits IM USING AXE RAKE!!! OMG HES CRIPPLED!! then after another 2 hits IM USING EXOCUTIONERS STRIKE! OMGZORZ!!! I R TEH OWNAGE!! BUT WHY WONT HE DIE!? then after a little bit, im like get: Get back in range i cant heal you, and the warrior is like STFU I AM TOO COOL! YOU COME HEAL ME.
Lastly, Frenzy is an awesome stance , but once you get targeted for a spike or something, press sprint, there double damage negated. Maybe this helps the OP figure out how to play a warrior better? i dont know

Switch Fierce with Heavy, 1 more easy knockdown can be crucial.

I actually prefer fierce to heavy after having played both of them a lot. Fierce will always do more damage than heavy will. When weakened it does more, when not weakened it does more and its main selling point is the fact that it doesn't drain your adrenaline which means that at the end of one spike you are going to be close to ready to spike again rather than having to charge up from ground 0. But this is with GvG in mind when you are coordinating a spike with another warrior. For RA it perhaps heavy is better, but I've never felt that way.
