Any builds of trolls farming with swords?

Probably something combining Ripostes, and Glad's Defense.. also, probably not as fast or efficient.

heres a old sword build i use for farming trolls

w/me

5 inspriation
5 str +1
13 swd rune +1
15 tactic helm +1 rune +3

and of course vigor and absorbtion runes

Skills

Phsyical resistence
Epidemic
VICTORY IS MINE {E}
Riptose
Deadly Riptose
Sever Artery
Gash
Sprint [ to get by the annoy birds ]

Make sure that you have Phys Resistance on before aggroing and on at all time afta that, because with Phys Resistance on the trolls will do 0 dmg except might blow.

start of by selecting the closes troll and activate deadly riptose and the attack until sever artey is ready, by that time riptose should be ready, activate that then wait for gash, afta gash use epidemic to spread the conditions around and use victory is mine when your low on Health and Energy, afta that keep attacking and spam deadly and riptose until sever and gash is ready and repeat untill everything is dead.

This build has no problem take on both the bosses in the cave and its also great at farming Ettins.

a stances shield that reqs tactics

Standard Glads build:

Heal sig (don't use often)
Dolyak Sig
Glads Defence (E)
Shield Stance
Disciplined Stance
Riposte
Deadly Riposte

Attribs (memory):

Tactics 14
Strength 12
Sword 12
Sprint

As above, use a stance bonus sword and shield (crimson carapace works well)

Take as many trolls as you can aggro. Kill the two bosses in cave too, and all the tundra giants to the north.

The only problem I can see with that build is energy management. May want to bring Bonetti's Defense, since your Tactics is already high. You may also find that Physical Resistance alone is not enough to offset the damage from the Trolls after they get enough adrenaline to use their skills.

You can't be talking about the ViM build?

ViM -> 5 energy per condition, per enemy. on 5 trolls each with DW and bleeding, thats 50 energy every 15 seconds.

Hmm... That is a very impressive Riposte Troll Farming Build. I think I'll stick with the axe though, it's more effecitve, and i have more axes than swords, and my axes are better than my swords.
