W/E Weapon - Help me Decide!
As you can tell by my avatar, I'm big on Mesmers. But during my time farming and mapping, I've found some weapons that have gotten me thinking about a future W/E build. I got an excellent Fiery Spiked Axe of Fortitude, req. 8, max damage, +29 health, and 15^50 from a Smite while farming, which I planned to use in a W/E Axe build with Conjure Flame. But just now, I found a 15^50 11-21 (yes, 1 from max =/) FDS from, believe it or not, a Jade Scarab. I think I only need one, am willing to use both, and the Axe could probably sell for more, but which type of weapon is best in such a Conjure build? Sorry, not experienced with Warriors at all. And also, ideas on selling prices from the knowledgable for either item are appreciated.

I would say that the weapon you choose is not particularly important; it matters much more the build you run. It depends on if you like swords or axes more, your build, so on and so forth. However, in general terms, I'd go with axe.

You should use both. Good warriors tend to carry axe(s), sword(s) and hammer(s) to fit a build/enviroment/situation. On your adventures you may find a axe useful for a certain quest or farming routine however a sword could be needed for the next mission or a new farming spot.
About your build idea, I leveled my warrior W/E and it wasn't so bad - however I ended up hardly using any of the ele skills, minus the situational skill(s), and played almost a pure warrior. Most farming builds (if you look around) are W/Mo, W/Mes, W/N, W/R .. the Ele secondary is fun, and has it's place - however if you have a good appreciation/understanding for the Mesmer class, you might want to look into trying it out with the warrior class. (My main is a mesmer and often I switch the warrior to mes secondary). Just a suggestion.
Weapon and sell value: Keep them both, use them both. The axe could be worth some cash but FDS - vendor fodder. I have one right now that I use and I'll keep it for situational needs but it's pretty much perfect stat wise, however it shall be replaced very soon. IDS is what it's all about - which a W/Mes has the right skills to farm the imps for one.

The max for a sword is 15-22.
Anyway, a conjure build is insanely expensive for a warrior to run imo. As for what weapon to use, it depends on your build and what you're trying to do with it.

Right, 15-21 is what I meant. >_< The reason I was leaning toward Axes is that Axes seem to have more adrenal skills, which could make energy manegement easier if I'm using a few Ele spells. Plus I figured I only needed one elemental weapon, or would I really want two different ones for a Conjure Flame build?
