Default Ranger/Warrior Build, Please Comment!

ok so here it is:

ranger/warrior

attributes:
marksmanship - 10, +3 rune, +1 headgear [14]
wilderness survival - 9, +1 rune [10]
expertise - 11, +1 rune [12]

drago's flatbow

runes: sup marksmanship, major WS, major expertise, sup vigor, attunement

so in health, that is 480-75+50+30= 485hp

skills:

read the wind
troll unguent
savage shot
burning arrow{E}
whirling defense
screaming shot
frenzy
resurrection signet/ lightning reflexes if rez isnt needed

read the wind: at 14 marksmanship, for 24 seconds, arrows move twice as fast and deal 10 extra damage

troll unguent: at 10 WS, for 10 seconds, you gain +8 hp regen

savage shot: at 14 marksmanship, your target's action is interrupted. if it was a spell, you deal +27 damage

burning arrow: at 14 marksmanship, you strike for +29 damage, and your target is set on fire for 5 seconds

whirling defense: at 12 expertise, for 18 seconds, you have a 75% chance to block attacks...

screaming shot: at 14 marksmanship, you deal +24 damage, and if your target is within earshot, it begins bleeding for 19 seconds
*combined with burning arrow, foe has -10 degen (max)*

frenzy: for 8 seconds, you attack 33% faster, but take double damage
*canceled with whirling defense when under attack (both stances)*

rez sig: rez party member with 100% hp and 25% energy, only recharged with morale boost

lightning reflexes: at 12 expertise, for 10 seconds, you have a 75% chance to block melee and projectile attacks, and you attack 33% faster

at 12 expertise, the enrgy of ranger skills decreases by 48%, which means if i use a skill that requires 5 energy, it only requires 3 at 10 expertise, and, likewise, a 10-energy skills would cost 5.

any comments?

Looks like a solid burning arrow build, but it might be a bit energy heavy.

*edit* I just realized you're running 10 expertise when you have no skills that cost 15 energy. I would suggest you either switch to a minor Exp rune or lower exp to 9 and spread your attributes elsewhere.

Handy little expertise chart:

ah i see ur right, but idk about the energy heavy part...
and even if it is, i dont think there is a solution...
unless, of course u know one that wotn ruin my build =]

but i have a cuple expertise skills in there like whirling defense

so theres not rly a point becuz if i put it at 9, i get 11 att pts which i cant use to lower anything

do u think i should run a minor then?

then wirling will last only 15 seconds so idk u decide

Pack Crossfire somehow if you wanna switch to a DPS Build, it's a great skill.

I would use either flail or burst of aggression over frenzy. Since you use screaming shot, it's obvious you have nightfall anyways.

Why did you put so many points into wilderness survival for trolls? While a 200 point self heal is nice, is it really worth sinking almost half your attribute points into a skill line for one skill?

You'll have monks with you anyways, so why not go with a 16/10/10 or 16/13/4 Marksmanship/Expertise/Wilderness Survival spread? Both gives you more damage, while the second option will cut down your energy cost for 5 energy skills by another energy point. Not to mention taking out the 2 major runes for minors will free you 75 health, putting you even lower on the AI targeting list.

Flail won't give the same IAS as Frenzy in a ranger build without barrage since it's not possible to keep it up when only hitting one enemy at a time.

I would agree with this point. Less in WS and more in Marks would likely benefit.

@ Xeones:
If your build is energy heavy, then Hunter's Shot might be an option, although it is harder to get the bonus bleeding from in PvE where enemies move around less.

415 health = pretty fast death.
