Default Warrior Armor Question

I've looked around, and haven't really come up with anything. The search seems a bit buggy, so i'll just ask here and hopefully it'll enlighten atleast a few people, myself included.

If you are facing physical damage, as a warrior which of these would be more effective, and why?

Knight's Insignia - Recieved physical damage -3

or

Stalwart - Armor +10 (vs. physical damage)

Generally in my experience +armor gives a bit of a shield vs oncoming obvious damage, and HP gives a bit of a barrier but its primary usefulness is to absorb alittle degen. I know its personal preference, but I kinda prefer the +AL / +Absorb...and i'm just curious over time which will absorb more damage.

10 armour = 16% damage reduction
knights = -3 damage.

break even point for knights being as effective as +10 armour is if you would have taken 3*100/16=19 armour-affected damage. That 19 is the amount of damage you would have taken after taking into consideration your 100AL and possible shield. If you would have taken more damage 10AL is better, if less knights is better. I have ignored other sources of absorption.
