samcobra is right though. AB is not really about capping so much as preventing the other team from capping. that generally involves killing, and the team that has a better kill-death ratio generally wins.
as for using healing sig to survive: if you can't fight off a single target with a warrior, you fail (unless that single target is running a antiwar char, in which case life sheath won't save you anyways). a warrior is about about the damage. they're not there to survive, they are there to kick as much ass as possible before being kicked themselves. survival is more based on personal skill, especially in skirmish games like ABs. if you can't survive with just a heal sig and maybe a mending touch, then you simply need to play better.
