Ok, I made this build for Devourer HM farming - the runs take 5 minutes each and..., well, you get good drops, hopefully - the money rolling in per hour varies depending if u get good drops - I had a goldfest yesterday and rolled in 2.1k in 15 mins , and I believe that no-one else has made a build even remotely like this.

Skills:
Dolyak Signet
Flail (Skill from NF, I think)
{Elite attack skill}
{Attack skill}
{Attack skill}
Orison of Healing
Vigorous Spirit
Mending

Attributes:
Weapon Mastery (sword/axe): 11 + 1 + 3
Strength: 10 + 1
Healing Prayers: 10

Weapon (axe or sword) + shield:

Zealous axe/sword, preferable with a armor mod or enchant mod.

Any shield, preferable to have a stance shield (make the requirement strength, to get the most benefit out of the armor). A recommendable green item for this situation, is either Grognar's Defender, or Arrahhsh's Aegis (from Factions, wiki it).

A bow, to pull.

Strategy:

From druid's outlook, zone into Sage Lands (thats the only portal so u cant go wrong, also make sure u have Hard Mode on). When you load into the area, put on Mending, that's your first priority. Head left until you see a Devourer pop up, put Vigorous Spirit on and attack it until you can use flail - now use it so you can get more benefit out of Vigorous Spirit. Spam Orison of Healing (not so that you have energy problems, but just enough to keep your health relatively high so you don't die)- by the way, keep Dolyaks up so you don't die that easy . Use your attack skills to deal more damage. When you've finished that mob, turn back and keep going forward, until you see another mob of devourers. HOWEVER, do NOT put on vigorous spirit just yet! Soak up the aggro and move back slowly, ensuring they hold their aggro - move back until you're about... well, when your aggro radius is just south of the crossroads - now repeat the same directions that I gave you. If there is a Stalker mob coming close, MOVE BACK! Once they pummel you, nothing can remove that stain on the floor. OK, if there isn't, go forward, until you see a 5-devourer mob. DON'T WORRY, they won't kill you, just run back like you're being chased by your worst nightmare! OK, once you have lost aggro, regain your hp, and proceed to pull the devourer mob you just alerted. Pull back, slowly and carefully, to the same position as the last mob. Now do the same thing as last time, except that you may find that you need to use Orison of healing more the first few times. Once you have done that, that's the end of the run. You can rezone, or go to somewhere with a Merchant and sell the stuff you don't want and come back and farm.

Happy devourer farming!

Counters:
Stalker/Stalker sprout mobs.
Over-aggro.
Failing to use the defensive skills quick enough.
Keeping your energy at zero/nought - 0 energy means Mending will go off and you don't want 8 degen

BTW my guildwars name is Monster Expert, so if you want proof that this build works whisper me in-game.

Ummmm... yes, when they drop good golds , but proph golds usually aren't inscribable, so they're not really that good. Of course, if they have max mods, go salvage those and sell them Apart from that, unfortunately, no. Good for funding stuff like UW, FoW, skill capping, etc. I haven't timed this, but I reckon the amount I spend time in the run is 5 mins, not sure... XD So my answer IMO is yes, they do drop good stuff, but if u have better methods then skip this thread... BTW personally on the run my favourite spot for the mobs on the right is the wall, or as posted in the guide.

It's also a nice difference from the normal farming.

There's nothing worse that I can think of than farming Devourer. Those stupid things haunted me all the way from Pre Searing to the Crystal Desert.

But hey, if you like it...they're all yours ;p

You can also get your revenge on them. Mwuaahahah... :P Though, these IS the occasional "accident" where you die, but it doesn't matter. I don't think this build can operate past 15% DP.

Cool, I just modded my friend's build for this. Since I didn't have a rit, I have no choice but warrior.

Just thought id let you know, tyrian golds can be worth a hell of a lot more than Nightfall inscribable ones. An inherant 15^50 on a tyrian sword can be worth 10X more than an inscribable one as they are rarer. So keep hold of them!

Also, dont bump your own threads every hour, you cant force people to reply to them.

I get 10k for 30 minutes in FoW normal mode, so I guess it is possible to get 30k in FoW or DoA in an hour, Hard Mode.

How the ---- do you farm 30K/hour?

Anyway, I find this build suitable for me, and that's what matters. I just wanted to see what comments you guys would put on here. Not that it matters anyway, I need it for funds to my skill capping.

Will the author please stop bumping this post every 5minutes, it's a rubbish farm the drops are awful, the build doesn't work particularly well, and it's much faster and survive alot easier with W/Rt.
Leave the post alone.

Stop trolling, it's not the speed of the build but the money that comes in, geez why do people only care about how fast builds farm these days?

maybe because the speed of the farm directly relates to how much the income from it is. Lets say a run gives 2k and takes you 15 mins, you make 8k an hour.

Now say another build can do the same run and get the same drops but it only takes 10 mins, which gives 12k per hour. Which build would you rather run? That is why everyone always asks and mentions the speed of the farm.

Yes, but let's say Build A is in normal mode in a high-level area - let's say, UW. Build B is in hard mode, but is in a simpler area. Which one would have the better gain THEN?
