Warrior skill animations...
Anyone else think warriors should get better skill animations, i simply think they are too simple, not even noticeable actually. Ye i understand warriors just wack with a sword, dont use many magic related stuffs but we deserve sumthing kewl looking

I always felt the animation for Hamstring looked pretty cool. Too bad the skill phails. I was disappointed they didn't use it for Crippling Slash. I've also kinda felt female warriors had more interesting, aggressive, violent attack animations than males, like they're putting more effort into it.

Duuude... Look at the size of male warriors... They don't need to put effort into stuff.

More flashing lights and effects when I use skills, coupled with the already large barrage of fire magics hurling overhead and the numerous monsters on my screen.
My computer might malfunction. :P Well, it is a low end PC.
But nah, I don't have time to admire my skills to be honest, It'd be a waste of time.

I was under the impression that by "skill animations," the OP meant the body motions of the attack, not the silly RPG-cliché particle effects that I could take or leave.

Meh, they all look the same to me. The animation when you drop [skill]Destructive Was Glaive[/skill] is pretty awesome though.

The was a mod you could add to your game that made some flashy effect when you crit hit, so you can try that if you like. It's on the official wiki ready to download. In regards to actual animations, I think that what we lack in movement is made up for in sound effects. Sun and Moon Slash is my personal favourite, with a guillotine sound. Dragon Slash is pretty good too.

Actually animations are fine...well I was all "WTH" back when I first started also but I'm used to it now and in all actuality, what more do we need... this isn't an "anime" themed game, it doesn't need to be pretty.
What does get to me (my pet peeve I suppose) is when my fem-warrior swings TWICE with her sword but it's actually only ONE attack -.- Pretty much the same animation as the Hundreds Blade animation but for when you're just doing normal attacks.

That just reminds me of when I first played my Ele back then, and I was so pumped with the description for "phoenix" ... So when I went out to test the skill... well it wasn't very phoenix-y.

Male warriors have pretty good sword-swinging animations which the females can't match.
Compare "Final Thrust", "Galrath Slash", "100 Blades".

In all honesty isnt a wariror just supposed to swing a sword/ axe/ hammer around? What are you looking for.. A strike with a sudden metorite that jumps out and burns the opponent's head or something.. >_>. I love the animation for female wars.. it looks realistic.. But yeah Dragon Slash.. maybe you could breath fire.. or grow dragon wings or dragon tale or something.. Take on the aspect of a dragon rofl.. that WOULD look awesome xD.

there needs to be atleast sum symbol for skills like dragon slash or a dragon going thru the sword...
for some hammer skills you could get an effect on the ground like the dust rising up and moving out in the directions, OR earth crack
