I'm giving my warrior another chance to prove he can make me proud, and so I looked around through various character build repositories, observed PvP matches, and toyed around in PvE a little to come up with this altered CripSlash build I'm hoping will get decent reviews from the critics here.

Warrior/Dervish

10 Wind Prayers, 11 Swordsmanship, 10 Strength

Runes and Insignias: dunno, probably Survivor insignias

Weapon: Crippling sword, +15% damage in stance, not sure what to make the second mod

[skill]Crippling Slash[/skill][skill]Gash[/skill][skill]Protector's Strike[/skill][skill]Harrier's Haste[/skill][skill]Natural Healing[/skill][skill]Rending Touch[/skill]

The last two slots are probably going to be [skill]Wild Blow[/skill] and Sunspear Rebirth Signet (or [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill] in PvP). Kiting mobs beware...?

Monsters don't kite. Therefore, crip slash is pretty useless in PvE and so badly outclassed by D-slash.

I've had caster mobs kite me, and it would also be swell for catching running healer mobs.

Also: Dragon Slash is great for a super-duper-OMGWTFDPS war. This is not meant to be a stand-and-deliver-much-pain war, this is a I'm-going-to-chase-you-down war concept.

Swordsmanship needs to be 14+, or else you'll fail at damage.

Condition extending weapon mods suck, if the duration of your conditions end (i.e, after ~18-24 seconds), before you've killed the enemy, you're doing something wrong. Get a damage mod, like vamp or sundering. 15% in stance is fine.

As previously mentioned, Cripslah is meh in PvE, though it has some use in HM, but if you're running sword in PvE, nothing beats Dragon Slash. Harrier's Haste is a stance, and so you can't use an IAS with it. That's bad. If you drop HH, then you may as well drop NH, put the Wind Prayers points into Tactics, and take Healing Signet/Lion's Comfort/useful utility.

SRS is fine if you find you need it. Wild Blow is meh, and you can't use it with Dragon Slash.

The thing about a cripslash build is that its more a party build than a player build. What I mean is that you are the snare and you need a party member that deals big damage with you. Where as a Shock Eviserate war is both snare and damage. DragonSlash + Brawling Headbutt (for PvE) is also snare + damage.

If you are set on playing with Cripslash then concider skills like [skill]Bull's Strike[/skill] and [skill]Enraging Charge[/skill] Enraging would power up cripslash almost instantly and a knockdown is always a solid move vs kiting foes.

There's no point using Bull's Strike with Cripslash (in PvE, anyway), as the enemy will already be moving at half speed, so you don't need to use BS, and if you need to catch them first off, then you have EC, as you mentioned.

I was thinking of using EC to catch up it only gives 3adren, so if you land bulls strike after activating EC then you get the knockdown and fully charge cripslash.

Both are certainly not needed, but its all in how you use them, and what is charged when you need it.

Sorry, it's not a usefull build. If you use cripling slash knee slash(or w.e it's name) is VERY usefull here. And you need a better IAS.
