I think I have the first pair of amour. I made it in Ascalon City. I there any better Armour I can get? I am a lvl 8.

If you check guildwiki, you'll see that there are armor upgrades (as well as Collector's Armor) that you can get as you progress in the game....

Umm you can get a run to droks and get max armor there
or you can play the storyline and get new armor as you go

I guess you are in Old Ascalon then.
Well you can get new armor there in town if you like. (wich you allready have i assume) Next armor stop is in Yak's Bend.
Slightly better and some new sets.
But i suggest you stick with the one you got now as you seem to be on a starter character and new to this game

Just get better armor as you go if you can afford it. Usually the small +Armor that is added don't play that mutch part. They get higher and better later in game.

Prophecies has the slowest progression of all the campaigns, and as such you are made to wait quite a bit before you can actually get max armor. As others have said, you can get a run to Droknar's forge, which is a late-game town that has max armor crafters. There are also some collectors in the crystal desert, IIRC, that will give you pieces of max armor for certain trophies...

Take your time and explore as much as possible, you will find armor crafters and collectors when you really need to upgrade.

Holding down the Alt key in a city and looking around will show you the NPC's, this might help you locate what your after.
