Okay, weapon of agression with 8 in channeling means you can keep it up for 10 seconds (enough for it to recharge) and during that time it gives you a 1 swing per second attack rate with a sword or axe. With that in mind, would it be to a warrior's benefit to either have this on his skill bar or have a rit bring it along in lieu of an IAS stance? Basically use this instead of frenzy, flurry, or flail?

I can't think of many reasons to do this because most stances are bad, but with it, you could keep sprint (or rush) up most the time and still have an IAS skill active. I'm thinking that there might be situations where losing a tenth of a second on your swing time might be to your benefit.

Thoughts?

One correction - a Rit can't cast it on you, it only ever affects yourself.

anyho, I've tried to use WoA before.
And it's bad.
It eats up your energy.
It also stops you attacking for 1 second out of every 11 (.25sec cast + .75sec after cast ftl)
and, importantly, it stops you blowing shit up with Splinter Weapon. If you're speccing 10 channeling, Splinter will simply do more for you than WoA.

Only real use I've found for it is with Rits in Spirit's Strength builds. I think Warriors have better IAS skills that they can activate within their own profession.

Only really useful in spirit's strength builds =/ There are normal war IAS's that are more useful.

Rits can't cast it on you? Shows you how much I use it then. Okay, then it's junk if you can't even let someone else use it.

BTW, Splinter weapon would usually be better on a barrage ranger or a dervm preferably a shadow stepping derv. AI doesn't particularly target warriors and good players would know to avoid them for softer targets. Splinter really needs to be able to target clumped parties as they happen and a warrior has too small a range to make the most out of it usually.

Winterclaw, it was ment to be used on Spirit's Strength bars anyway. To be honest, I'm scared that the devs allowed a skill like that to represent some gimmicky builds to be honest...

Personally, I like [[Weapon of Aggression]. It's not hard to get to the point where you can cast it again the instant it recharges and, being a Warrior, its cost isn't all that bad as you could run a mostly adrenal build and use a zealous weapon to guarantee. Currently using it on my [[Dragon Slash] build and it's been very useful. It's very nice to have an IAS you can reapply as soon as it runs out instead of having to wait an extra 10-20 seconds or having to cancel it prematurely because it's made you take too much damage...

[frenzy] + [rush] = win. There is no better IAS.

Still not superior to Flail though, which boasts an instant cast time, a recharge (4 adr) which is nothing to worry about, a 33% attack speed over 25%, and you don't have to swap out to a zealous every now and then.

Stances will always be better than spells, cause you don't spend time casting spells, which would stop you from bashing stuff.

I think i saw Rau using it on observe...not quite sure.
The only advantage i can think of is that you can have IAS and speedboost at the same time.
