Prophecies PvE W/N Build
(BTW, first post! Sup guys. )
So i've just recently gotten my W/N up to level 15, and i'm kinda noticing the lack of good synergy with my necro skills, other than plague touch. Any advice for a half-decent W/N PvE build, preferably not based entirely around an elite skill (Quite difficult to get at my level :P), and preferably sword spec?
Thanks in advance.

Wow, no options for W/N in PvE? Well how 'bout that. I guess i'll hold for a bit, then. That or just put all warrior skills in my bar. :P

you work Fine just with Warrior skills or maybe Plaguetouch with war skills. Maybe you can use some skills that steal life with touch but probably best just use warrior skills

Yeah after the buff Enfeebling Blood is a good option if you're H/H'ing without heroes/new chapters.

Forgive my noobishness, but what is "h/h'ing"? Enfeebling blood does seem like a good option, and following it up with Endure Pain can help lessen that life payment. (On a side note, I really really like that skill. :P) As for increasing my damage, being as i'm a swordsman, i've been trying to make good use of Mark of Pain to offset my inability to deal with massed mobs. Do you guys think this is a wise idea, or not so much? I like that it lets me do damage to more mobs at a time, but they have this bad habit of dying before they do a significant amount to their buddies around them. :\

Hero/henching - just using AI team-mates to beat the game.

Don't bother with Endure Pain - it's really quite a bad skill. Just hit the mob with Enfeebling Blood and let your henchmen heal you - they'll have a much easier time and energy to spare when you're all taking 66% less damage.
Alas, in your case Mark is going to waste because things are dying too fast. A similar damage buff you could look at would be [[[email protected]] - it only applies to one foe, but recharges much faster. If you're dropping single targets faster, then it might be a consideration to bring.

Basically your not going to have much to use from Necro as your secondary on a war. There are some skills that can be used, but not effectively, still they can be fun to play around with.
There is a nice build using [virulence] but it is an elite skill that is a long way into Proph for you to cap.
Stick with running all war skills untill you can change your secondary, even then most of the best war builds use 7 war skills with only 1 skill from thier secondary profession.

The problem with Mark of pain is that it's only useful when there's a boss/enemy with a lot of health around, as normally, things die too fast for me to get a remotely significant amount of damage from it. That, coupled with the 20 sec cooldown I think makes it a pretty sub-par option from me, when i'm just fighting trash mobs.
Funny that Virulence got mention, as that's the original reason I went swordsmanship over Axe Mastery. Sever artery+Gash+Virulence=winrar. It didn't occur to me though, how obscenely long it's going to take to get to those woods to go get it. :\ Such is life, I suppose.
I haven't tried using rigor mortis yet, because it doesn't seem like enemies in PvE do a whole crapton of blocking (Except for those damnable Afflicted Marksmen. :\). Withering Aura+Hundred Blades looks freaking insane though, unfortunately I've not got Eye of the North. :\ I'll be digging through the Necro skill list soon to see if there's any other "when you hit an enemy, they get x condition" skills in the campaigns I have (Prophecies and Factions), for hundred blades abuse purposes.
I think i'll look into putting Barbs (Though I am kinda iffy on the cast time. :\), Enfeebling Blood, and Plague Touch on my bar, all of which seem like good options. As for my swordsmanship skills, Sever Artery and Gash are insane (duh), and I've got For Great Justice, and Silverwing Slash (for a relatively high adrenaline damage pump.) Are there any really good PvE swordsmanship skills I should keep an eye out for? I'm hesitant to buy the ones that look good in case they turn out to not impress me (Much like Mark of Pain did. :\)

You mentioned Silverwing, ergo you have Factions, so I really must recommend...
[dragon slash]
It deals high damage alongside fueling the rest of your adrenal skills, it's pretty damn orgasmic.

Indeed, I have heard tell of the wondrous Dragon Slash. Apparently it's the only viable PvE elite sword skill. :P Spamming that for 20 seconds every time I shout FGJ sounds like a party, but i'm looking for something to do until I can grab that. Maybe i'll play around a little with some of my necro skills, FGJ+Sun and Moon slash has been something i'm looking that, and with Barbs it seems like it'll probably make short work of most enemies. Once I get Dslash it'll all be gravy from there.

If you decide to buy eotn you could combine [Weaken Armor] with [body blow]

It's certainly not the only 'viable' sword elite - [[Quivering Blade] does as a low-cost, hard-hitting attack till then
But it certainly is the best.
[dragon slash] + [for great justice] + [dragon slash] + [dragon slash] + [dragon slash] + [dragon slash]...
[dragon slash] + [brawling headbutt]
[dragon slash] + [save yourselves (luxon)]
Strong, high-adrenaline sword attacks make it good, over-powered PvE skills make it amazing.
edit: check out this guy to cap Quivering Blade

Another option if you really with to play with [virulence] is to unlock the skill with faction(AB is fast and easy means of this) then pick up an Elite Necro tome, same thing for aquiring [dragon slash]
Still Elite tomes can be expencive, but for Dslash its worth the money.
