Byraku Builds: Signet Warrior
After several motnhs of playing norhing but Derv, I decided to test out Warriors. The only problem was, I couldn't find any build that interested me, so I decided to make my own.
After several drafts of different builds, I stumbled upon the skill 'Symbolic Strike' and instantly loved it. It's great, it requires little addrenaline, and can do more damage than most melee skills in the game.
(I have 13 Strength, 14 Sword Master and 10 Tactics)
[skill]Symbolic Strike[/skill][skill]Power Attack[/skill][skill]Quivering Blade[/skill][skill]Poison Tip Signet[/skill][skill]Dolyak Signet[/skill][skill]Antidote Signet[/skill][skill]Healing Signet[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
The last skill can be replaced with Signet of Strength in PvP.
BTW: My weapon is a perfect Zealous Falchion of Fortitude with 15^50 and my sheild is an Exalted Aegis.
Anyways, I've been testing this build, and it's absolutly great, I generally strike for 80-110 damage a hit, and I can endure a lot of damage before I die. This build's only weakness is heavy damage, I can easily heal conditions, and I can't be knocked down.
Like it?
Edit: They haven't updated the skill description for Symbolic Strike, but it actually does +12 damage per signet.

Yeah, thats one of this builds only problems, though if I need to, I can swap out Ressurection signet for flail. And I don't have a hard time building up adrenaline anyways.

Try:
[build prof=w/r axe=12+1+1 tact=10+1 str=8+1][frenzy][eviscerate][symbolic strike][bull's strike][sprint][antidote signet][healing signet][resurrection signet][/build]
For a Symbolic build that doesn't suck.

I would take out [power attack] for an IAS, [flail] for PvE. If you were to go PvP you'd need a cancel stance for [frenzy], as that's the more effective IAS in PvP.
Interesting concept tho.

Symbolic strike builds just seam to fail..
To get a good return on the investment you need an IAS + [for great justice]
that basically drops you down to either only 1 attack skill or losing a signet or two..

Dump Power Attack and Poison Tip, put in Flail and Standing Slash. You don't need a zealous mod for that build. With no IAS and also having to break your attack rhythm to use Poison Tip, your DPS will suffer.
To really make it shine, go axe and use Eviscerate for your elite. You hav the foundation for a decent DPS build, but a few changes can be made to improve it dramatically. It's something different to play with, but warrior bars have been pretty stagnant for the last 3 years for a reason.

This suffers from Decapitate Syndrome. Instead of devoting your whole bar to overcoming full energy and adrenaline loss, now you're stuffing your bar with signets that you don't really need (and sacrificing all utility), just to maximize the damage from this skill. Translating the skill description pretty much reads "the more you gimp yourself, the more damage you can do with this skill."

I like the 2nd one more with evicerate. I may even try it today in some ra. However I was wondering is sprint really better in this instance over rush or maybe enraging charge?

I'd still run smite signets and be more effective. You're gimping yourself with bad signets, and it's like a decapitate build, trying to fix a skill with others makes a bad build.
Edit: to avoid double post [dismember][symbolic strike][frenzy][rush][signet of judgment][bane signet][signet of rage][resurrection signet]
That still sucks

imo the combo [[healing signet] + [[antidote signet] is a lot more useful than [[bane signet] + [[signet of rage], and you're not waisting your elite spot on some crappy signet.
stays a sub-par build though.

Wow didn't know symbolic strike could actually be useful. I like your build in general, but you put a few useless signets in just to boost dmg. Put on some IAS and For Great Justice and you'll be balllliinnnn XD

QFT, for Symbolic to do decent damage you'll have to put useless Signets on your bar.

[build prof=w/me sword=12+1+2 str=12+1][symbolic strike][distracting blow][savage slash][leech signet][signet of clumsiness][signet of disruption]["For great justice!"][resurrection signet][/build]
I like to run that on koss, and to be honest I have been satisfied with an interrupting warrior ^_^
Of course, thats just the concept. You could modify the signets and put basically what you find satisfactory. Although for great justice might be better if replaced be flail. What do you think?
It isn't solely symbolic strike, but a general interrupt in which can keep up a decent amount of damage.
