In RA I saw a warrior using something along these lines:
[Signet of Judgment][Holy Strike][Bane Signet][Riposte][Deadly Riposte][resurrection signet] and I never saw the rest of his bar because I killed him. (It was RA.)
Holy Strike is something I've often considered for a KD warrior. It's a thought.

For me it's just the fact that the combination rocked when GW first started out. In my case, I get to last longer than any other warrior. And with the builds I make, especially for PvE, I keep kicking and still brought heavy loads of damage on my foes. There's also the idealism of a Paladin that made me choose this combo. For the record, I don't bother using mending because I just think that if I keep on healing it's not going to matter. The combination works very well for me, at least in PvE.

As a warrior i usually dont even use my 2nd proffession. I only go W/E to use the Conjures and Shock. And i'll only go W/Mo if i know i'll need a hard rez.

I'd only go w/mo for mending touch or some kind of hard res. Besides that, I'll go /n for plague touch or /e for shock in pvp.

I go paragon for enduring harmony more and more nowadays. The other's really are just minor utility in situations where'd i'd be fine anyways. However enduring harmony allows me to help alesia and lisa far better.

My assassin got whooped by a similar build in RA yesterday, but this guy was running like SOJ, Bane, Irresistible, Griffon's, Leviathan, Hammer Bash, Crushing and rez. He was the KD king! Sadly, I had Critical Defenses up, so those were the most miserable 12 seconds I ever had as an Assassin (20% enchant mod). Then the enchant wore off, and I got Hammer Bashed in the face. I was both humbled and impressed. I wasn't even attacking the warrior, but he trained me hard.
A build like that I can respect (in RA, anyway). But if I see Gladiator's Defense or any type of Riposte on a Warrior, I have to kill a litter of kittens, it makes me so mad.

That's not as bad as the warrior caster I saw who chose a warrior because of the higher armor. W/E's with meteor shower, fire storm, and earthquake all in the same bar don't cast that much though :/

My very first character was a W/Mo (who still is, haven't quite ascended him yet), and it was for 2 reasons.
I thought that a warrior who could heal would be especially useful in a party.
I thought some self-healing would be useful.
Now, I quickly learned that that didn't work well with my limited energy reserves, so I played with a Retribution Warrior for a short time, till I leaned that maintained enchantments were bad, as was specing in so many lines.
Basicly, it was a noob decision, but it still allowes me to carry a hard res if I chose to (which is still a valid reason). I've since learned how the game works, and that it realy can't be "soloed" (one man teamed).

I'm a wammo! Back in the day before balance was brought to the game mending use to be worth something. Since you are not allowed to drop your 2nd I still wonder around with /MO on the end of my W but my skill bar has not one monk skill. All you really need is your primary unless you don't know how to play it hince my fast casting Fire mesmer.

I would have to say the reason I ran one is because of how I went through the game with my Monk. The res came in handy when playing with henchies at that time weren't has good as today and with no heros.I mostly used warrior skills although I used mending from time to time very very little though.I used mend ailment and a hard res for the most part no different than today with mending touch.

Faced him as well, lmfao. Here's the complete build then:
[skill]bane signet[/skill][skill]signet of judgment[/skill][skill]holy strike[/skill][skill]riposte[/skill][skill]deadly riposte[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill][skill]healing signet[/skill][skill]symbolic strike[/skill]
He appeared to have no weapon mastery points as his damage output was laughable

Because you don't need a secondary profession most of the time.
You only need a secondary profession for some utility skills like hex and condition removal, and monk has both.
Most used alternatives are :
/ele for conjures and obsidian tanking.
/rt for splinter weapon and vwk solo farming.
