Holy Veil on a W/Mo isn't the worst skill to bring, but unless you are running, you don't really need it. And if you were to bring a hex removal, I'd bring remove hex instead for faster recharge and pre-veil isn't necessary in PvE. Though Monks and Midliner should bring hex removal instead of Frontliner like a warrior.

Its only useful for running on a warrior.

excuse my rudeness, but why would you actually want to go as a w/mo? there are better combos

W/Mo isn't horrible, there's [[Mending Touch] and stuff aswell. Holy Veil wouldn't touch my bar anywhere in PvE because it's the Monks job to remove hexes, and the hexes in Prophecies (where the hench Monks don't have hex removal) aren't all that threatening. [[Faintheartedness] and the like are annoying, so I might take one then, but it would never be stapled onto my bar.

For a rez and mending touch, I assume.

I'm with Marty. As a Prophecies character, it's nice to have a pre-veil, but it wouldn't be stapled to the bar. If you're running with heroes or other players, I wouldn't bother with it.
Goddamn Alesia and Lina, both of whom don't have hex/condition removal.

In PvE there are few better combos than W/Mo since you only need 7 warrior skills + a rez anyway

[Conjure Flame] is good.
Wars that need a hardrez are bad.

Do you mean that warriors are supposed to keep their teammates alive?

I found that weird too. Sure, your party shouldn't die and your monks should keep you alive etc, but generally I have space for a rez (death pact/fomf) on my warrior anyway. Especially in elite areas its usefull, where you don't get rezzed by a shrine ofc. Better a warrior with rez than the monk

[holy veil] is good hex removal and in some cases keep the caster of it a bit busy
can go on an ele for some support but on a war it's a no go
take either [conjure flame][conjure lightning][conjure frost] for extra damage

In Prophicies and Factions where players do not have Heros taking a hard res on a Warrior is not a bad idea. Hench monks often die quickly and the other hench will waste res signets or fail to use them all together.
If you have Heros then a hard res on a war is not needed.

If you have an extra skill slot for your build, Holy Veil isn't too bad as it is an instantaneous hex removal if it is precast before battle.
That being said, any warrior worth his salt won't have room for an extra skill in his bar.
Regarding hard rezzes...carrying one doesn't mean that you have a bad warrior...it may mean that you don't have a ton of confidence in your monks. That's not a good thing, but meh - sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry.

I haven't used w/mo for anything other than res in a long time, and even when i ran in tyria I didn't really use veil. Theres jsut better hex removal, and like some people posted, in PvE and for the msot part PvP as well you should stick to being a warrior and let the monks monk.

I'm still using my W/Mo, I used to use Live Vicariously / Vigorous Spirit + Flail which most of the time provided a good enough self heal that the supportive classes didn't have to help me as much. Lately I've been trying W/A or W/Rt.
