Talking Useful Warrior Skills for UW

Tomorrow I'll be going into the UW with some guildies having some fun. I only have Prophecies and I was wondering what skills should I bring for UW if there are any special ones that could come in handy. And should I go W/E, W/Mo, W/Me etc.?

Also if I should focus on health or energy but I am a warrior and I only have Prophecies so atm im thinking of going Conjure Evis with survivor and stonefist with vitae min.axe, min.str, min.clarity, because its not a quick clear its for fun and I just wanted to know of some handy moves.

Thanks in Advance.

Much <3

P.s. If sword is better for UW I can do that... And can also try Hammer.

Run anything you normally would. UW is basically like most other places. You might need specific tactics or minor modifications on other peoples bars but there isn't much difference.

Get ready to take some massive hits, Aatxes hit like a bag o' bricks coming off a bullet train. Thank Grenth you're a Warrior with beefy armor!

W/Mo (hard rez)
W/E (Conjures)

Probably the two best things to do, imho.

dolyak signet and adrenaline skills, unblockable attacks, block stances, any combination of those. The biggest thing is to know what you're fighting.

Dolyak Signet is bad and you shouldn't need block stances.

The only hard part is the Mindblade Spectres, which is easily done by using a solo farmer to clear all the ones s/he can out, and even then they're predictable in what they do.

he asked for warrior skills. It seems he didn't want to take gimmick builds in, he wanted something he could use to survive and deal damage as a warrior in the Underworld. Not everyone needs to run the 4-terra perma speedway build...it's nice sometimes to take a balanced team in and just see what you can do.

Against smites, aatxes, graspings, he should use some kind of armor buff. Sure, there are alternatives to dolyak but for the most part it involves using a secondary. What if he can hold aggro on a corner and doesn't need to move? nothing better for tanking than dolyak sig...it'll wear off fast enough that it shouldn't slow the group down.

The best thing you can use to survive and deal damage as a Warrior is player skill. A couple of terribad skills won't help someone.

wrong. dolyak is a waste of a slot in any team build. he shouldn't bring anything other than what he normally would. he should worry about killing and let monks worry about keeping him alive. btw tanks are bad.

Well I ran a Sword build in the end because my guildie organised our group and decided it was better that way.

Done it with [Watch Yourself][Defy pAIn][Shields up][Sever Artery][Gash][Final Thrust][Pure Strike][Resurrection Signet]

I had about 10-12 in each attribute with a zealous sword of fortitude

Worked brilliantly =D

Much <3 and thanks

Tactics, no increased attack speed, warrior tank build, final thrust causing you to lose all adrenaline = bad

Meh, not the best build, but at least it has a kind of synergy.

No IAS or MS means that Pure Strike is spammed on recharge, Tactics buffs team members with WY! and SU!, and Final Thrust, I'm assuming, was used either immediately following Defy and WY! or at the very end of the fight to finish the last mob.

If this was the case, and you only used Warrior skills, how come Rez Sig? You could have at least brought a /Mo hard rez....

Not the worst, but far from the best that it could have been. Kudos for finishing, how long did it take?

Tbh you'd probably get more out of an IAS then Pure Strike.

Well Id probably say Flurry is best in this situation as an IAS from Prophecies/Core

Frenzy = Take double damage = Suicide and too much un-needed pressure on monks
Berserker Stance = Ends when I use a skill... For my constant spamming of skills thats not so good
Flurry = 25% less dmg... But im still dealing +8% and still getting +33% adrenaline so this is my best option.

The build looks like this for next time: Btw I did take Rebirth last time as when im the last one or two standing and doomed this is the best for running away and re-ressing the team from a danger zone.

[Flurry][Watch Yourself][Defy Pain][Shields Up][Sever Artery][Gash][Final Thrust][Rebirth]

Strength: 10
Swordsmanship: 12
Tactics: 10
Protection Prayers: 2

Thanks for all your help and we managed to finish in about an 1hour and a bit

Btw I was wielding a Zealous Sword of Fortitude and a Deldrimor Strength Shield.

Thanks and Much <3

WNx MrESlayer and I got a few ectos from it aswell XD.

If you're using Frenzy use a cancel stance.

maybe: [dolyak signet] [bonetti's defense] [deadly riposte] / [riposte] and [flail] for ectocows

[i will survive] for Twin Serpent Mountains....then get a secondary profession XD
