Has shock axe been improved?
UPDATED: now running a conjure build for more consistent dmg output.
14 axe 10 str 9 air
[eviscerate][executioner's strike][agonizing chop][bull's strike][conjure lightning][frenzy][rush][resurrection signet]
Weapon : destroyer axe 15 ^50 w/ shocking mod and +30 hp with a destroyer shield insc: Reduces Blind duration on you by 20% +30hp
Armor: superior rune of vigor w/ all survivors and viates (for max health) + a stonefist insig (for KD) and minor axe rune on helm.
Improvements?

The one with the rez is what I run. You could go with a conjurer I guess but shocks exhaustion sucks.

The inscription on the shield is bad, and vampiric / sundering > shocking if not using Conjure.

So do you advise me to put in a vampiric mod? or switch [shock] for [conjure lightning] ?

If you want more overall damage, Conjure.
If you want the ability to quarterknock and generally have a second knockdown, Shock.
The reason that -5/20% sucks is because the one in five chance it actually happens, another mod would have surpassed it's potential. +10AL vs. *Type*, -20% Blind or Cripple and -2/Stance are all much stronger inscriptions overall.
Oh, and you should really have all of these weaponsets:
Sundering axe, vampiric and zealous. I also bring a spear along, but you should also have an elemental weapon in your inventory for times when you're attacking Warriors for pressure too. Bringing these as a precaution just encase your Conjure is stripped allows you to be alot more versatile overall.

He did answer you.
The "20%" chance part is what sucks about it. + 10Armor vs *fire* or *slashing* etc is better, because this is Guaranteed defense, -5 physical damage aint gonna happen all the time, and tbh is quite useless even at 100% of the time.

Ok thanks for the wealth of info, i chosen "I Can See Clearly Now" Reduces Blind duration on you by 20% for my shield as i feel thats my main problem getting blinded.
ALso wouldnt it be enough to bring a vampiric axe as my 2nd weaponset 'incase my conjure is stripped'???? i dont like bringing more than 2 diff weapons on my weaponset bar. =/ i do think the vampiric axe would compensate my temporay enchantment strip and be sufficent as my back up weapon.

I use agonizing chop rather than disrupting chop, its a bit more dmg even though its a conditional interrupt. But if your using evis/executioner then you are going for more of a spike rather than interrupt.

How about [lion's comfort] ?
Ok this skill description icon is outdated heres the proper one: All of your signets are disabled for 12 seconds. You are healed for 50...98...110 Health, and gain 0...2...3 strike[s] of adrenaline. and it only takes 4 adren now not sure why guru doesnt update their icons.

It's better than [[Endure Pain], by far, but [[Resurrection Signet] should be in that slot.
The skill icons are not hosted by guru. I think gwshack does those, and they haven't updated.

There are times when you should divert the killing spree and res. If an enemy dies, hit your res sig as soon as possible unless you're in a party using a hard res which you know of.
Sure, you should be attacking them but you should also think about the team the same way Bull's Strike can also be used defensively.

One second to heal yourself, or three to rez the monk? Choices.
Lion's is a defensive skill, and so is res sig. If something is going wrong, I'd much rather revive a fallen team member at full health, than try to heal less than 20% of my own health.

Just going to throw this out here, but Lions can also be used in an offensive manner through speeding up adrenaline gain, too. Although I agree hitting Res Sig would be far more effective than hitting Lions, as you lose a bit of pressure through using the skill as the target can kite away mid-use, limiting the enemies you could hit, and in that one second you could have got 1/3 of that adrenaline and quarterstep towards that enemies' path through prediction and got more adrenaline, allowing more damage and easier adrenaline gain.

Hmmm....valid points i guess taking a res sig is overall more sensible than equipping LC

Oh, by the way.
You're best off speccing 10 into Air Magic and 8+1 into Strength for a bigger damage boost on the Conjure.
