Superior vigor, all survivor, minor strenght, vitae, and whatever is on your helm. i dont see the point of -20% blind, if your blinded your monk/healer should be removing it, and if you insist on -20% blind, bring a shield with it, you need your health, so switch to your shield and then switch back once its gone.
thats my opinion, its how i learned to play and it gets the job done ^^

the -%Blinds kinda stack, which is nice (sometimes your backline is a bit busy)
also Stonefist ftw!

Mmmm... I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the 20% blind reduction on shields only take effect if you have the shield equipped when the blind lands. Equipping it when you already are blinded doesn't make it expire faster, sort of like how you can swap to a 20% longer enchant weapon, cast and enchantment and then swap to another weapon while still having a longer lasting enchantment effect.

You're right.
I prefer to have a -20% Blind rune, and a -20% blind shield, so I have a -20% always, and a -40% if I need it

PvE: All survivors. Stonefist if you're running kd. No need for energy because most PvE Warrior builds are spamming Triple Chop with a Zealous axe or spamming Dragon Slash. Superior Absorption because monsters are never going to swap to an elemental weapon to hit you.
PvP: All survivors unless you run something like Shock, then some radiant. Stonefist because you really should have some kd. No Superior Absorption because no one is dumb enough to hit you with a physical weapon without swapping to an elemental set, unless of course its RA or Ab.
I never really found a use for -20% condition runes because the monk or someone else usually takes it off right away. Even if it's not, the condition is usually easy enough to constantly reapply it so the -20% doesn't help, or it's a useless degen condition.

Helm: Weapon of Choice or Strength if running a Scythewar, Survivor sig
Chest: Best Vigor you can afford, Survivor sig
Gloves: Minor Strength, or Vitae if running a Scythewar, Stonefist sig
Legs: Rune of Clarity (-20% Blind/Weakness duration), Survivor sig
Boots: Vitae, Survivor Sig
This is pretty much the optimal setup; extra HP, extra KD, less Blind/Weakness, and it works in both PvE and PvP. FTW.

Yeah Tyrael pretty much summed it up. Although personnally I dont run a Clarity rune I just use either another Vitae or a minor Tactics.

From what I remember a lot of direct damage spells target the chest specificly. Running at a minimum of the +10 armor vs elemental can reduce that damage another 10% while also applying to everyone who chooses to weapon swap.
I find a lot of people do not bother weapon swaping when they are only going to be hitting a warrior for 2 seconds anyways. Most people only weapon swap when they are going for a spike on the warrior, not just building. I never find the delay to change weapons worth it unless I am moving or getting ready to spike so absorption does reduce some pressure, but doesn't do much on a spike.

No spells target the chest specifically. I used to think they did and I got owned.

Spells target a player, or a location of a player, end of story. When the damage hits there is a chance that it hits any one of the 5 body locations, Head / Chest / Gloves / Legs / Boots.
Spells don't target an area all the time, it's chance per attack/spell.

Well, don't use a stonefist unless your running a KD.
And...
Superior Vigor, minor strength, minor swordsmanship, rune of clarity, rune of vitae.
For PvE, I like full knights (when using hammer, daggers, or scythes). But meh, I use full survivors on other sets of armor too.

Don't get me wrong, Neo Atomisk, I have an armor set runed out with full Knight's insignias as well as a Sup Absorption rune and a -2 Stance Shield that I use for farming runs where I am going to farm mobs that deal physical damage and physical damage only.
Marty Silverblade said it best in another thread similar to this one where someone was asking about whether or not to take a Sup Absorption rune vs. a Vitae; he said if a Warrior is dying from physical damage, you're doing something wrong.
