Default Response To Are Warriors Still Viable

After playing with my Warrior for a few days again im back to being a 100% Warrior playing person my build is this

Cyclone Axe
Flail
The Deep Wound One From Proph Dismember???
Penertrating Chop
Executioners Strike
Eviserate E
Thrill Of Victory
Res/Capture Signet

I seem to do a fair bit of dmg on PvE and i tend to use an attack skill every second or so that said any ideas on how to improve it will be great espicially to help me cut through enemy warriors more easily i considered buying a ebon hilt does this count as armour ignoring?

Evis+Exec is pretty much the strongest spike combo you can have in the game, which is why it's really popular in PvP. It's less effective in PvE, because DPS against high armor foes with large pools on HP is more important than a quick spike kill.

In PvE, the most effective builds use PvE skills.

Ebon hilt just converts to earth damage, and is not armor ignoring.

1. Wrong section, this isn't Warrior Forum.
2. No attributes.
3. No cancel stance, you will be pretty slow after you kill all enemies. Or if you want to get to another one faster.
4. Two deep wounds in PvE?
5. Thrill of Victory is meh.

Also, after 3 years you still think ebon hilt deals armor ignoring damage?

Thrill of victory gives me +39 damage for -5 energy so its basically another Executioners strike

oh yeah and the other deepwound is the skill i feel the worst about i might swap it for axe rake

Power Attack is better than Thrill of Victory. You don't need a Tactics investment, lower recharge, same damage scale, and no conditional to it. Even so, Power Attack isn't the best choice as tons of PvE skills help increase the power of all your other skills much more, like [Asuran scan] and [I am the strongest].

For PvE warrior the best all around build is Dragon Slash + Save Yourselves Spammer

[skill]enduring harmony[/skill][skill]for great justice[/skill][skill]enraging charge[/skill][skill]flail[/skill][skill]dragon slash[/skill][skill]brawling headbut[/skill][skill]save yourselves[/skill]

Last skillslot is optional and I usually do either [skill]pain inverter[/skill] or [skill]whirlwind attack[/skill] if I have a hero carrying splinter weapon for massive aoe damage.

While FGJ is up Dragon Slash recharges itself and all other adrenaline skills on every hit. I let the hero's do most of the damage, what I run at the moment that rips through most HM area's is a MM bomber/prot, SS/anti melee necro with dwayna's sorrow and a VoR/empathy interupt mesmer with hex removal. All the damage is armor ignoring, while I shut down key targets with brawling headbut and keep party alive with SY!

Why do you need to run two deep wounds?

IMO run a [warrior's endurance] build using energon attacks such as [power attack] if your looking for a dps build. You can find some on pvx. I'm on my touch now so I can't do much sorry.

Energon? Since when did GW merge with Transformers? Mebbe that's where they got their inspiration for the Dervish Avatar Forms?

I understood your post Atomisk, but I couldn't resist that opportunity...

As others have said this build isn't all that great. Better alternatives for axes are available, just search the forums.

An ebon hilt, or any other elemental damage hilt, never counted as armor ignoring. However, it does bypass the inherent +20AL vs physical damage from warrior armor (since the damage your axe deals is elemntal instead of physical). You'd be beating a 80AL target instead of 100AL in that case. Still far from "armor ignoring".

If your warrior is giving your party +100 armor constantly and someone still dies, then you fail.
