100blades, 500 DPS.
Okay
[build=OQQTc0ISZamMV8qwwySovYHkvCA]
Core of build:
[Hundred Blades] is applied on every hit of [Whirlwind Attack], and each 100b pulse does physical damage that Triggers [Mark of Pain].
This scales insanelly with number of enemies. 10 foes would generate 11 physical damage packets to trigger MOP, dealing 712 AOE damage, half of it being armor ignoring.
And it appears you do not have to suceed in hitting foe to trigger it. (Hint Hint Hint)

This buff and the Triple Axe buff is slightly making me wish I had a warrior now.
For once they are worth something to me.
But it's still very slightly.

I suppose you haven't fully tested this as I already posted some combos in the farming forums. The first issue with your setup is [I am the strongest!]. It only triggers on the single target damage which makes it crap tbh. If you want to increase aoe you need to use [ebon battle standard of honor] and secondly refer to: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10342644
so yea please research a little more and also to note great dwarf weapon doesn't actually increase the aoe damage and the aoe damage works even blinded.

The new skill for UW farming? It doesn't trigger SoJ, and you can change MoP to Splinter Weapon :]

IATS is mostly for last standing foe (the one on which you cast MOP) and to trigger [Soldiers Defense] when gathering aggro. It is also very easy on energy, costing zero if you use it properly. And yes, it gets applied for every hit you make, Whirlwind on bigger groups does consume all charges.
"BUH" (Do YOUR research: that skill is not GDW) actually does increase AOE - first picture proves is ( 26 from 100b is promoted to 30, 30 from MOP is promoted to 38, 100 damage crit on sword should also get you on right track).
For raptors, you can not use Ebon Standart, because it is highly liable to interrupts even under block stance and if used under Wary, it strips it leaving your followup Whirlwind liable to be interrupted - and your bomb won't go off and you will die. Not to mention that it costs energy you can not afford. In fact, ESOH is liability everywhere - costs too much, takes you out of combat for 2 seconds and is unnecesary overkill. You noticed that on seccond picture, it was far from necesary to get any boosting skills.
(And I mentioned that you don't have to hit for to trigger AOE, point of your comment?)
Of course stuff can be improved (FGJ is pointless for raptors build, it could use optimalization, skills like [Enfeebling Blood] could be worked in). That is point of posting it, share and improve. Its not about who get it posted "first" (which, regretably, seems to be issue of some posters).

You still need to attack to strigger non-attack damage and without [Signet of Midnight] you will hit and trigger SOJ. Glorious suicide.
You could approach smites with caster weapon/without weapon and charge ardenaline nonviolently, weaponswap and hope you will finish attack faster than they can cast SOJ. That sounds fun.

that sounds like fun, but would require a big aggro to work. I personally want to work it into a build for deep or urgoz as that is where you can get huge aggros.
combine that with [explosive growth]+[aura of the lich] for some good fun

[Edge of Extinction] is nice too, and actually used in Urgoz.
In coordinated team you should drop /N and get your [email protected] from actual necromancer. Or two of them.

I didn't say it was great dwarf weapon I was stating useful information about how certain skills affect [hundred blades] as I think using it in terms of raptors is a narrow path to take since it has so much more potential. If you are looking for single target take downs [insidious parasite] or many options would be better for taking down the final target since you already have points in curses for mark of pain. The point of showing the other thread is to try and encapsulate the discussion to one thread so that the information isn't scattered abroad so yes I think it is useful to focus in the farming forums rather than warrior as that so far is going to be the main use of the remade skill.

I expect Hundred Blades will be changed to require a hit to trigger the damage. It doesn't really make sense otherwise.

Oh common, what's so bad about a skill that allows warriors to farm more effectively, when we have OP bricken things like shadow form?
Besides, in pvp, people won't gather so much around you to do 500 damage on them.
And only the melee will receive this damage from the combo in pve, unless you're tanking. Range, mah boi!
