Male or Female
I'm remaking my warrior and have yet to decide male or female.
If I make male I'll make him big.
but I dont know how tall to make her if she's a girl.
My problem is that most male armors look great.
But I hate staring at a guys bum all day.
Females only look good with bandana's.
I just can't decide.
So give me your opinion on whether to make boy or girl, and if girl looks better tall, small, or middle.

Personally, I would never make a female warrior... simply for the fact that the armor art for female warriors completely defeats the purpose of a heavily armored, high defense fighter. Just my opinion, like the other guy said, preference.

"The mightiest of mighty, the bravest of the brave, the Warrior is the master of melee combat and heavy armor."
Just doesn't sound feminine.

talisk, you need to ask yourself if the coolness of male armors outweighs the fact you are going to have to look at a male's rear end. If it does, go male. If not go female.

i say: your own opinion. if the armor is what you mostly care about and you less care about looking at a male behind when playing, go male. if not, go female. females have SOME interesting armor combos. gl

99.9% is a little high in this game, it's 97-98% more like, One thing you notice is female players almost never have male characters. I have all minimum height female characters, and I'm a 6 foot fat guy. But Lara Croft of Wolverine is an easy call for me. Not that there's anything wrong with that if you go the other way, it's your call. Same as the choice to buy a big spiky car (it's not compensating, I don't believe in psychology)

The usual view of my male character
(note red cape, spikes, and party leadership)
Where you want to be in the mob
I think a higher than average percentage of GW players are female, it's probably 15-20% or better.
I played the betas with a girl, there are several in my guild, etc. It's a soft feeling MMO game so a large percent of players are going to be female.

If you want to be a massive typical Warrior dude, go Male, though Females have some bulky armors too if you want them. It really is just personal preference; there isn't much to say about it.

If you have a cape, that's actually going to be what you're mostly looking at unless you choose to look at other angles, as demonstrated by Lux. Personally, I'd say the better quality of the male armours (if you don't like "heavy armour" that often crosses the line into fetishwear) more than makes up for it - more male Warrior armours actually have proper tassets over the bum rather than skintight leather as with all-too-many female armours.
(I've actually been wishing lately that my Warrior was male rather than female, but she was made in 2005 when, with the exception of the twice-as-expensive-as-now-with-a-smaller-money-supply Obsidian set, appearance and properties were linked and the only +energy set for Warriors was Gladiator's, which is one of the few sets where the female character is better covered than the male.)
If you do go with a female Warrior, I'd encourage making her at least taller than average. While the game does have an implication that the female Warrior makes up for lack of bulk compared to males with other advantages such as speed and cunning, she should still look like one of the stronger examples of her race and gender.

Female ofcourse.
Reason 1: Vabbi armor
Reason 2: Elite Gladiator armor
Reason 3: Kurzick 1.5k armor
Not to mention big-and-bulky disgusts me.

Seconded - female.
Bandanas are crappy imo :P. Damn I feel like an old dude, I seem to hate most of the GWEN stuff (just got it like 2 weeks ago :x), pretty much contrary to everyone else :x.

Honestly, I don't understand why people ask questions like this.
It's personal preference. Don't ask others what they like, ask yourself what you like. If you like male better, roll a male. If you like female better, roll a female. It's really as simple as that.

My main is a Male Warrior. He's big, he's beefy, he knocks the absolute shit out of things. I use the Hide Cape and Hide Helm option most of the time because a few of the Warrior helms look like utter tripe (<3 to my Elite Kurzick and Primeval Helms tho) and I want to see the armor I worked my butt off for, not some swatch of cloth.

Male warriors seem more fat than muscular.
It's odd. In most games I tend to go male, but never so in Guild Wars. Awful dances and dorky...like male mesmers.
