Warrior Pet gimmicks
Lately I've been very bored of blazing through PvE with my Overpowered [dragon slash] or [earth shaker] and [Save yourselves]. And I recently got a Moss Spider. So I've been thinking. What if I can give my warrior a pet gimmick?
But I couldn't come up with a build. So I came here.
Since Warriors are short on energy, I would figure most pet builds would involve a suicide dire pet (Low level thanks to Menagerie?) die in a mob and then run [I will avenge you!] and/or [By Ural's Hammer].
But even then, benefit looks a little weak.
That being the case on energy, I figure why not instead focus on a different strategy of Warrior's Endurance along with a zealous weapon, while using mostly adrenaline attacks, there for supplying more than enough energy for your other skills?
On the flip side, Ferocious Strike combined with Scavenger's Strike can also be a form of energy management, as well as adrenaline, even if minor.
But for something that has a high probability of being extremely high dmg if you have the energy for it is Enraged Lunge.
A lot of beast shouts are long-lasting and long recharging, with a cheap cost too. So the main problem here is getting the energy for Enraged Lunge.
Definitely, a zealous weapon is key here. And again, because your skills should consist mostly of adrenaline skills, that energy won't be consumed.
Still, it looks hard to use and research might need to be done in order to get efficiency out of this.
Now, a lot of people complain how it uses up too many skill slots. However, until anet allows pets w/o charm animal, this may be able to be worked around by giving a hero [Revive Animal].
But even with that, there is still the problem is managing attributes. You would definitely need runes for your main weapon and you won't be able to max strength if you put any points in Beast mastery and expect your pet's dmg to do shit.
All cons aside of pets, what could be the advantage of having such builds?
Well, it is common sense that YOU cannot use two skills at the same time. However, you and your pet could both fight. Between the damage of yourself and the extra boost that is your pet, it could lead to some fun general PvE results, even if not efficient in PvE elite areas.
Anyways, if you can come up with any gimmicks or have thoughts to share, post here. If anyone can come up with anything good, I would seriously give you my kudos.

I run that alot on my warrior, and its quite effective, the optional slot is for another attack skill, interupt or res.

I think subarucar means executioners not eviscerate otherwise using 2 elites. And on that note, consider, bringing the dwarven KD skill and bestial mauling.

It was stupid but I had some fun with a sword and pet using never rampage alone, Barbarous Slice and gash. I used that pet teleport thing to get cripple in the mix with knee cutter to get energy. Probably be easier to use WE, NRA, and some attack skills to keep the energy up though.
Be sure you exploit the extra physical hitter, maybe take a smiter with judges insight, strength of honor(the new pve buff is creamy) and a necro with barbs and mark of pain.

I run this quite alot on one of my Warriors, actually.
Swordsmanship = 10+1+2
Strength = 10+1
Beast Mastery = 11
[Never Rampage Alone][Run as One][Warrior's Endurance][Sever Artery][Gash][Whirlwind Attack][Brutal Strike][Charm Animal]
With Revive Animal on a hero ofcourse.
Run with a Zealous Sword and you won't EVER have energy problems. Unless, ofcourse, you don't get a hit off...

I guess the norm for any high energy skills would be warrior's endurance really.
NRA + WE for energy + fast attacks.
Power attack + dismember for consistent damage and deepwound.
charm + comfort animal for your pet as standard
And now the hard part. You have 2 spots. You can
1 - augment your pet with attacks/properties
2 - augment your own damage
3 - somehow do both
Options :
Great Dwarf weapon - Easily one of the best pet/party skills you can bring. you're benefiting from the increased attack speed of the pet already. Team it up with lowblow - which has no aftercast delay (follow that with power attack). (yes you're technically using GDW yourself).
I'd easily stop there, but there are a few other options of course. most if just seasoning :
counterattack is fair damage, provides a big energy return - yes you're using WE, but hitting WE + NRA before a fight leaves you with nothing. getting a huge chunk of energy back using counter attack helps.
cyclone axe - low aoe, pitiful on a single target though. Good for spreading poison (costly setup!), gaining energy.
Apply poison - great for spreading some degen along - 35 energy cost to setup NRA + WE + AP though.
bestial pounce is decent - consistent damage, fast recharge, helps pet survivability.
Call of protection - great for pet survivability. Long lasting, cheap.
otugo's cry (I always spell it wrong) - helps pet hit. carry wild blow and you can skip it. and wild blow in itself is circumstantial.
Random adrenal skills - note, unless you're getting a condition, it's probably eclipsed by PA+Counter in consistent damage.
List goes on really. Scavengers can net you back energy, though it costs half your energy to begin with. companionship for a heal, but you've got lion's comfort and even monks. Lacerating chop can go with GDW, as can steelfang - though with steelfang, you'd want other adrenal skills to make it worth it. Plus there's a whole list hammer skills that benefit from a kd'd foe.
