I love the hammer but one problem I see is the ROJ monks run (fall back or make haste) and immediatley cast ROJ. This can make it hard to interrupt ROJ with slow hammer attack speed.
What I ran with some success (as much as you can with a warrior) was:
100 Blades, Sun and Moon Slash, Lion Comfort, Flail, Sprint, Leech Signet, Power Drain and 1 optional (Hamstring nice for crippling turtle/jug but 10 energy) . Use leech signet first since Lions Comfort disables the signet. This can cap the ranger shrines bit gets owned on the Mesmer (Clumsiness) shrines.
100 blades is nice against the block RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOs and will quickly own the ROJ smiters.

Leech Signet instead of Shock for longer range and less energy consumption. That way you will be able to use Enraged Smash more often.

I actually miss the old Enraged smash.. spamming it was rather fun and a good deal of damage to go along with it..to bad they changed it.
But yeah nice build i must say.
I just try the new builds in JQ on my War as well to just to piss off all the rangers and monks that take over that place...stance removals to piss off rangers and interupots for RoJ...that will get em quite messed up with range
=)

Enraged smash is fun but that build would be awkward to play.
I tried a version with pulverizing smash and shock to KD stationary targets, but the energy / adrenaline management quite is broken and it didn't make it past the test phase.
I would LOVE to use pulverizing smash, but enraged just doesn't work with shock.
Replace pulverizing smash with crushing blow, only use it when really going for a kill, put something else for shock (I like counter blow on enraged smash).
Mine looks like this:
Counter blow
Crushing blow
Hammer bash
Enraged smash (normally I always put bull's in slot 3)
Flail
Rush
Death's charge (or mending touch, or lion's comfort if you're a pussy)
Enraging charge
This build is fun to play, underrated and nearly equal in strength to dev. Short on energy but manageable (meta dev builds are actually a bit short on energy too).
Would NOT suggest it for JQ, this build is for AB and requires a monk (like most hammer builds).
No matter how you build them, hammer wars are going to get owned by the constant ranger pew pew spam with whirling defense in JQ, and it won't kill an RoJ or nuker fast enough to make it worthwhile.
So bring it to AB, but play something that works in JQ please.

Distracting blow's +1 energy might make it possible to Qknock with this build, but you'd run out of energy even faster.
Also you can't F*cking play JQ without a shadowstep.
