The -10 armor in exchange for damage is risky. Especially if you're going in PvP. Personally, I think it's not worth the sacrifice for that kind of extra damage. There are better options out there. Quite notably the 15% over 50% health mods. The common knowledge is: If you're below 50%, you're going to die anyways. That can be debatable, but my point is any damage Inscrip mod is better than the one you're asking about.
Don't use that mod for either weapons.

Pretty much no.
15%^50 is does the same thing but with little to no downside as when you're under 50% health you're either about to be healed or about to die. Besides, you're a frontliner, and since you're going to be taking a fair few hits, you don't want to be dropping your AL.

This.
In normal mode and some easier hard mode areas, the -10 armor isn't that bad, but 15^50 does it better. It would be a waste to use this over 15^50.

I don't know about this, I've been below 50% a lot of times and didn't die. I think a more appropriate version is "if you are below 50% you should be getting the hell out of Frenzy anyway".

Or 15% -5E + radiant on chest and legs = same energy as without the insc, at the cost of 25hp. (which isn't that huge hit tbh)

By using -5e insc your saying you don't need the energy, wasting 25hp to regain the energy back when you could just as easily use 15^50 and get almost the exact same benefit is pretty stupid. More to the point, why don't you just take both, if your starting to run out switch to 15^50.

Virtually every other +15% inscription is better. If you know you're going to be in a stance most of the time, use +15% while in a stance. If you know you're going to be enchanted most of the time, use 15% while enchanted. If you're not sure, use +15% while Health is over 50%, as Marty Silverblade recommends. But why would you give away 10 armor when you don't have to?

if your pvping... yeah you need all the energy you can get. you see y wars already have low energy to start with, and even with zealous weapons, its prolly still not a good idea to lower your energy. sure your build might only have 1 energy skill, but that skill will most likely be frenzy, and you will be using that a lot, and the mod is especially bad if you have shock on your bar too. its prty cost heavy in the energy spectrum with exhaustion and all

If your playing a shockaxe war you will be in a stance most of the time so your best bet will be +15% stance

ur gonna be in a stance most the time anyways for all wars. if your not frenzying a lot, then your a bad war.
i use 15^50 because im not gonna be in frenzy when i train a target all the time. i use it when i know that i wont get punished for it, that means, no point in using it when im scoped by a ranger, blinded, or anything stupid like hexes and stuff like taht. and my health usually dont drop below 50%, and if it does, im either dead or about to get infused, so no real point

15^50, nothing else compares to it. If you aren't getting the extra damage all the time, reevaluate your build and team, because something is just going wrong
Occasionally 20^hexed. Normally isn't worth anything, can lose damage if you have deep hex removal (convert, purge, P&H), but if you know you are going to be sitting with parasitic bond on you 24/7 there is no reason to not get the extra 5%.

if you are good enough, you can combo 15^50 and 20v50. If you are THAT worried about dealing damage. Thats generally the best way to play with a war without losing damage, but truth be told, your health spikes so much as a tank its really hard to tell whats under and over 50%. Also 15% is really nothing if you think about it, since most of the damage comes from the skills you use.
