Rolling a new warrior
My first warrior was W/Mo, and contrary to popular belief, it didn't make me a bad warrior, it just made me not want Monk as secondary Ok so it did make me a bad warrior, but I'm learning... Before I delete, I have a few questions:
I'm thinking W/R or vice versa, I like both character types, but I'm only gonna choose one (limited to my 4 original slots for now). So if you had the choice, which would you pick and why?
Next question, I'm still relatively new, and my other 3 characters are all in Pre. One is going for LDOA, and the other 2 I just haven't played as much because I like my Warrior and my Ele more. If I delete my warrior (only one in post) will I lose my stuff in my stash?

You don't have to delete your warrior if you get far enough in Proph to get ascended, which is in the Desert. After you get ascended, you can pay 500g to pay for a new secondary proffesion.

First: You can change your seconday. You do not have to delete your entire character just to change it. The ability to change secondary happens a fair bit later into the game, but you can still do it. Warriors do not really need a secondary, they can do fine without one.
Stuff in stash will not be deleted when you delete your warrior (although I advise against this if all you are wanting is to change his secondary). Stuff on the character will however be deleted and unable to be retrieved.

Yes, if you wanted R/W you would have to reroll a ranger, but just remember a R/W would have a very different effectiveness and usefulness, and ultimately a different role altogether.

First off, there's nothing saying that if you're a Monk secondary you have to use Monk skills. For example, a standard Earth Shaker bar is nothing but Warrior skills.
If you end up deleting your character, you won't lose the items in your Xunlai Chest. You could delete all your characters, start over with a brand new character, and when you get him to Post he'd be able to get items from the chest.

W/Mo is ok, really. In groups you can use a monk rez. Or you can carry hex removal. Usually, though, just run warrior skills.

Monk secondary is mostly for Rebirth later on, a good resurrection skill for wipe prevention and cleanup. Rebirth is the only truly worthwhile reusable resurrection in that line. Resurrection Chant has a very long cast time, Renew Life just doesn't stand out, and Restore Life is also just not very good on a warrior because in order for it to be effective, you need a higher Healing Prayers attribute, and that's [usually] bad on a warrior.
Ranger secondary can be used mostly for Antidote Signet and Apply Poison. Apply Poison isn't very popular anymore, but can be useful for the lower levels with Sever Artery and Gash.
Both secondaries are not spectacular, and this is in part due to the fact that warriors don't need their secondaries that much.
My personal favorite secondaries are ritualist and paragon, which if you get Factions and Nightfall later on, you can get those after you ascend.
Ritualists have awesome reusable resurrection skills: Death Pact Signet, Flesh of My Flesh. I love those two.
Paragon is good for Enduring Harmony, which makes For Great Justice's long recharge almost a non-issue.
Stick with your warrior if you like it. It's a lot of fun, and it only gets better the more you play.
For now, it doesn't really matter what secondary you use, because your skill bar should be full of warrior skills and a resurrection signet.

You really should rely on the Monk to wipe hexes and conditions off you though. Let the Monk do his job and that will give you more slots to do yours (drop targets asap). If all you've got is a full set of henchies (no heroes) you'll have to compromise in areas where theres particularly annoying hex/condition spammage, but it's nothing worth carrying into every area.

Secondary class is rarely for more than 1-2 small skills. I use W/A, W/E, W/P, and W/Rt quite frequently, I have every single secondary profession unlocked for my warrior and change it several times per day.
