Default Looking for pointers

After recently returning to Guild Wars and purchasing Factions, Nightfall and Eye of the North. I Decided to make a new warrior, so keep in mind that he is only a few months old and has so far completed factions and nightfall in nm and is working on Prop. and EotN. So he isn't one of those many warriors out there with all the skills, finished everything in all modes forwards and backwards.

After talking to many other warriors, reading wiki, guru and these forums, I have came across many mixed feelings about all the skills/builds, weapons/mods, secondary prof. and which side to stick your tongue out while playing.

This is what i am currently working with and looking to fine tune it better. I spend most of my time questing and farming with hero's and henchmen or some guildies.

Survivor's Primeval Helm of Minor Strength
Survivor's Primeval Cuirass of Major Vigor
Survivor's Primeval Gauntlets of Vitae
Survivor's Primeval Leggings of Vitae
Survivor's Primeval Boots of Superior Absorption

Zealous Pyroclastic Axe of Fortitude +15 above 50
Destroyer Strength Shield of Fortitude +30, -5 20/20

Strength +14
Axe +12
+6 unused

Triple Chop
Cyclone Axe
Whirlwind Attack
Dismember
Executioner Strike
I will Survive!
-Space-
Sunspear Rebirth Signet

I was using Troll Urgent when running W/R. He has all the Secondaries opened up.

Any constructive pointers ?

Your armor's excellent, but don't forget about sentinel's insignias. They can potentially be a lot more useful than survivor's. Now I run two sets of armor, one loaded with survivor's, the other with sentinel's.

In your build, you only need four attack skills. Executioner's Strike is pretty redundant. You're using it to trigger the deep wound from Dismember, right? Your other attack skills should be fine for doing that, and Triple Chop even has the same +damage. So in my opinion, you would do better with a utility there.

I also don't like I Will Survive. You want to get conditions off you as quickly as possible, and monks do a fine job of healing. The regeneration doesn't even last that long given its lengthy recharge time. So I would definitely switch that out for an IAS and cancel stance (I would use Rush, since you use a lot of energy-based skills, and it's easier to use than Enraging Charge.)

For your free slot, there are lots of options. I know some Triple Chop warriors who run Splinter Weapon with no problems. Lion's Comfort can work too, but I tend to use that more as adrenaline management than a self-heal, and to that end, has no synergy with Cyclone Axe or Triple Chop, but can help to refuel Whirlwind and your stances, while also doubling as a small heal. I Am The Strongest would work there too, as would a knock down like Brawling Headbutt. Utilities like Mending Touch and I Am Unstoppable are good too.

I read in the other thread about your attributes, but I would seriously go 12 + 1 + 1 axe and 12 + 1 strength and switch out helmets. It's easier to do if you use cheap-o helmet sand just click the "always hide" option.

Your shield is one thing I want to touch on. -5/20 is awful. As a warrior, you use stances - a lot - and usually "Run For Your Life!" which is -2 in a stance will serve you better. I also tend to run +45 HP in a stance, but there is no truly noticeable difference between fortitude and endurance mods for your shield. You might also want to run "I Can See Clearly Now," which is -20% blind duration, and that'll help immensely, and for some reason seems to be pretty overlooked.

You're definitely doing really well.

Drop one of the vitaes for a minor axe rune. Frankly I'd go 14 axe 13 str but it isn't that big a deal.

-2 stance is better than -5/20 so change it out when you get the opportunity.

I will survive is pretty bad. It's usually better to get rid of the conditions (antidote if you stay /r) than put a small band aid on them.

Finally, you need either frenzy or flail on your bar.

redid some skills to

Triple Chop
Cyclone Axe
Whirlwind Attack
---warriors cunning
---flail
---endure pain
---antidote signet
Sunspear Rebirth Signet

endure and warrior's cunning are meh at best. warrior's cunning in pve are only useful in certain block heavy places but would turn out to be a waste in many others.
endure is just bad. a straight heal would be better except that's the monks job, and if you can't rely on the monks to keep you alive either you or the monks are doing something wrong.

-Endure Pain is terrible, when it ends you lose a huge amount of health that will likely kill you.
-Antidote Signet works but it would be better to leave condition removal to Healers/Supporters, especially if you have Heroes as they have mad reflexes.
-Warriors Cunning is pretty pointless, you get ~10 seconds of unblockable every 60.

-Dismember is worth taking, Deap Wound is big damage.
-Asura Scan is big +damage for physical attackers, I'm not sure on its effectiveness with AoE style builds though, give it a shot.
-By Urals Hammer would give you AoE +damage, but it would only be up 1/3 of the time, so it may not be worth the slot. Again, give it a try and see if it works.

Replace one of your vitaes with a minor axe rune (I would go +1 for going 14 axe 13 str, as +1-3 damage is worth a lot more then the occasional 1% armor piercing) and a rune of clarity (Blind/weakness -20%). As for your skills, I would recommend this bar:

(Death's Charge, Shadow Walk, or Unseen Fury)
Whirling Axe
Cyclone Axe
Whirlwind Attack
I am the Strongest!
Flail
Enraging Charge (Or rush, it's mainly a cancel stance)
(By Ural's Hammer!, Wild Blow, Sunspear Res Signet, Dodge This!, general damage)

And template code: OQcTEZJ/HCAA8RpYHcmkvywCAAA

If you can't go /A, or don't want to utilize shadow steps, I would recommend either bringing lion's comfort, or another utility of some sort (Splinter weapon would be good, go 9+1 str, 9 channeling, 12+1+1 axe)
