Has anyone ever tried using a warrior with a bow? Are there any positive aspects to this combination?

Tried, but you do SO much more damage with your sword/axe/hammer. Scythe if you want to.
Plus a lot of bow attacks cost a lot of energy for a warrior.
The only time you should REALLY be using a bow as a warrior is to pull mobs away from each other......or if you want to use distracting shot just for fun.
Just because its not the best doesn't mean you can't do it though. For most areas in the game you can run whatever you want. Play the way you want to.

Warriors can have up to 30 energy, I guess, while wielding a bow so energy cost is kinda hard to handle.
And no, a warrior with ranger skills would be silly, very silly indeed.

Bow attacks cost a poopload of energy that warriors don't have. If you really wanted to make a bow builds, I'd recommend using Marksman's Wager (even at 0 expertise you'll break even on 5e skills), Barrage with a zealous bow, or Prepared Shot with a zealous shortbow.
The advantages a warrior would have are just the low attack benefit of strength, higher armor vs. physical, and the ability to invest in the warrior attributes to a greater degree. So I doubt it would be very effective, but, if that's not what you're looking for, have at it.

Does Flourish work on bow skills?
that 'Might' help the energy crisis, if you went full energy gear.
You could use Needling shot to disable all skills followed up with Flourish to recharge said skills + fill your E bar and unload. Rinse and repeat.
Flail for the IAS, as you'd have no downside.

Bows have poor damage and viability, whereas Sword, Scythe, and Hammer are excellent options and Axes are decent.
I understand the cool niche of a bow Warrior, but it doesn't work in GW1. However, it will work in GW2 .

Pulling.
Warriors don't really have the energy to use bows, you can try flourish, but that means you can't use something like barrage. Sassis can get away with it because they get energy back on crit.
Since this is pve you can certainly get away with it, but that doesn't make it great for general usage.

There are a few ways you could manage your energy as a W/R.
None of them will let you be half as useful as a primary ranger with a bow or a a primary warrior with a different weapon.

Many have tried. Bow skill energy cost is based upon the idea of having expertise to reduce energy expenditure, warriors do not have this and additionally have one less pip of energy regen compared to rangers. While they gain +armor penetration on bow skills, this is at best a 1-3 pt increase on damage while using a skill, which is ultimately negligible.
The only time there was a really positive aspect was way back in 2005 when bull's charge would trigger on any auto-attack. Even then it was a gimmick.
In reality trying to have a pure "bow" build as a warrior is always going to be terrible. However it is possible that having one (maybe two) bow skills on an otherwise acceptable warrior bar would work, though it would end up being gimmicky as it would require changing out weapons. Off hand the only skills I could think of being worthwild would be distracting shot, maybe Melandru's Shot/Broad Head Arrow (if you are willing to give up and elite for a gimmick), or determined shot (if you would be fishing for its recharge skills upon miss condition).
At best putting bow skills on a warrior is gimmicky, at worst it is outright horrible.
