Default Warrior Elemental Protection Help

So i like warriors, returned to game made a new one based on W/E at the moment was 9 Sword, 9 strength. It work decent on elemental resits because on bad situations i used that skill from Elementalis that raises ur elemental resist for a while.

Bought the best char hide, and added on chest Dreadnought insignia and on legs. On foot i added hex protection, since in Lions Arch its a nightmare.

Even with these north of lions arch, there are lvl mobs 13 that do elemental damage rape me so bad. I dont even want to talk about Fire IMps lol, 50 dmg, and 2 imps in a few seconds can kill me so easly without healer. What can i do to improve?

I am trying not to get a full party of heroes/hench when i play prophecies normal PVE, besides misisons.

So how can i improve warrior magic resits, why the hell its so bad, i am not even at high end content.

Every time you are hit, the damage goes to one of five of your armor pieces. Chest piece has a 37.5% of being hit, leg armor is 25%, the others are 12.5%. If you put a Dreadnaught insignia on your chest piece and get hit in the leg, the dreadnought insignia will do nothing for you. If you have a, let's say, 20 armor chest piece and a 10 armor leg piece, you will take more damage getting hit on the leg piece. But and extra 10 to 20 armor is not going to do you anything against three fire imps. Seriously, don't fool yourself into trying to solo things on a warrior if you're new. It's difficult and time consuming. The areas in Guild Wars are built around the maximum party size and Guild Wars was designed as a team game. Use henchman and heroes focus in on your own profession. Warriors should not deviate from their primary in PvE very often. They are built for damage and absorbing the initial spike of damage that comes with running into mobs. Let your healers work on keeping you alive.

-To be blunt, not filling your team with heroes/henchmen is just foolish. GW was designed on the basis people would do that. All you're doing by using a team that isn't full is increasing your frustration and slowing yourself down.
-Lieutenants insignia is not worth using. Reducing your damage is bad (your entire purpose of existence is to be a massive damage machine) and reducing your armor will obviously make you take more damage.
-Warriors aren't weak against elemental damage. They're quite well armored all around so you'll should take less elemental damage than everyone except Rangers (and even then, it's only a 4 armor difference assuming you have a shield).
-If you're concerned about survival, a single self heal should be all you need. Everything else can be taken care of by your team members.

It looks to me like you don't want to play Guild Wars. You want to play a cookie cutter rpg/mmowhatever. GW is team based and if you don't want to be raging left and right you will (as marty pointed out) NEED a full party. Heroes of course being the most useful and thus you should probably sidetrack from prophecies to get them asap.
