I have tried this about 6 times by now, and have not beaten Magni once. I have beaten the others most of the times but I simply cannot get past Magni. I am an axe warrior and prefer to be adrenaline based.

There is a warrior build down the page that works. I used it. Took a couple tries. Yes, a sword works really very well in this application while an axe will not do jack bediddle. Go figure.

This is the build i used to beat him, again ull need sword for the infinite kd... just remember to time kds in case you have a stonefist insignia on, dont want to kd while they are still on the ground

Is there any way I could do this with an axe? I do not want to spend a bunch of money on a build to kill one person. Unlike most people in this game I am not rich and am relatively a noob. I have a sword I can use, but don't want to spend 2-5k on a build I will use once, unless I can buy reg warrior tomes for 100-200 gold each.

you would have easily made 2-5k during the 6 times you tried to beat it before. plus you will have those skills for later in the game in case you ever want to use them

You are not required to do this quest. If you don't wish to invest in it, then just abandon it and move on. Or use the 2 PvE skills as mentioned earlier.

Healing breeze. Vigorous spirit. Defy Pain. Flail. Cheap axe move 1. Cheap axe move2. Bonnetis Defense. Dolyak signet.

axe spam him watch him squirm..or deep wound/interupt him and make him choke on that hammer.. Its your call. Make him pay.
