up ^^
you can solo-farming even the Kappas (lvl 23) in Maishang Hills (just outside Gyala's Hatchery); here there is the build and the screen of farming (only little changes on the basic build):
- Soothing Memories
- Vengeful Was Khanhei (élite)
- Arcane Echo
- Vengeful Weapon
- Resilient Was Xiko
- MANTRA OF FROST
- Resilent Weapon
- free slot (i don't need it, maybe you can put in something to heal yourself, i don't know)
This build allows yourselves to survive to the frost attacks of Kappas thanks to MANTRA OF FROST, that gives you 2 points of energy for every frost attack (so you will have always full energy) and reduce their dmg of 45% (with 12 points in Inspiration Magic).
Often 3 Vengeful Was Khanhei can't kill all the Kappas of the group so, when third VwK is ending, cast Resilent Weapon and Resilent Was Xiko (that give you +8 health regeneration thanks to the hex spell "Blurred Vision" that they cast on you) and wait the VwK's recharge (in the mainwhile spam Soothing Memories to keep yourself alive) ; now, with the fourth VwK, you can kill the remaining Kappa(s)
Attributes:
Restoration Magic: 16 (12 + 3)
Inspiration Magic: 12
Equip:
- Brightclaw (green wand tha you can solo-farm yourself -> click me)
- Restoration Focus (you can obtain it from collector Chef Armand in Fernadale or craft it from weaponsmith Telamon in Leviathan Pits)
this equip gives you the 40% of probability that VwK recharge in half-time (great help in every farming spot).
gg to all (and sorry for bad english) ^^

You can also farm outcasts if you throw in Mantra of Resolve instead of Physical Resistance, the trick is that you dont keep it up all the time but to just use it to cover your second Khanhei (basicly hit Khanhei 2 and Mantra of Resolve at the same time, they wont get your first becuase you cast before they reach you). They have a crazy amount of enchantment removal so Visages are out of the question really.
Starting from The Aurios Mines, exit out into Rheas Crater. First encounter is a boss, Cultist Milthuran, no problem dispatch of the outcasts using the above method then take out Milthuran the same way you take out Stonereaper. Then continue on around Rhea's Crater dropping the groups of Outcast. Farming here is'nt bad since they drop raw piles of Cloth, which is nice.
You could also do this outside Zos Shivros , have'nt taken the warrior boss down yet, but been busy with other things

Ya i have been farming milthuran and the outcast for awhile. i really never used mantra of resolve cuz i never had trouble without it. im pretty sure that to get his staff he must not be using his sword but im sure there is a small chance to get it with his sword. another area that has paid out really well in drops is area in rhea's crater where the oni that drop Ungues of the Oni are. clearing that area i have gotten numerous drops of jade and gold items. Im now trying to take Jacquis for his shield and ive gotten him to about 25% but can seem to take him down. any suggestions?

Wchieng... to be honest... you are one lucky man... His green sucks, and aint worth much. Most vermin farmers would wish that they get black and silver dyes.. and not to mention gold weapons. I never had any of those... Only purples and the occasional green dye...

I hadn't even ever gotten a gold drop from the vermin and the few purples I got weren't max, I switched to the onis in rheas crater awhile back, more challenging but a lot more rewarding for me.

The easiest place to farm Oni is just outside the western exit to Breaker Hollow. There are 3-4 that pop just north of th shrine and they can be killed. I like to use resilient weapon to boost survivability. There's a few more groups that pop nearby that are relatively easy to get to.

lately I've been dropping warding/resilient in favor of mantra of concentration (the one shot interrupt protector) for farming in rheas, been working much better for the outcasts. Phys resistance is still the stance of choice though for the onis. I have never had an occaision to need (and have time/energy for) either weapon of warding or resilient on them so...

merki and milthuran
Milthuran's staff - pretty good drop rate but only drops when he is using it.
Merki the reaker - pull him out of his group and keep 1 visage up at all times and he is easy (also some of the shirokin are soloable and drop good loot)

I just tried out this build last night and I was amazed at how easy it was to use. Its much easier to farm with than the 55hp monk (and nowhere near as expensive to set up).
I went out vermin farming, and got a gold celestial staff 2 silver dyes + lots more and killed the boss first time (no green drop but hey! I was more than impressed at this stage already). Not bad for a starting run.
Great job Dahnel

Wow, nice on the UW build. I know I'm going to waste a couple of k getting in and trying that out next chance I get.
I've been using he build mostly to farm arborstone and a couple of other places but the drops haven been fantastic. I've been having some success with the outcasts in crater too wich had me thinking of how I could kill the Oni guarding the bridge. There are 2 groups of 6 oni I believe, and they drop the Ungues of the Oni green daggers. The groups are easy enough to pull independantly, but it seems that the diff between 4 Oni groups and 6 Oni groups is what makes them able to kill me.
Has anyone else tried this, any insights?
I'll be checking it out later today again just for the challenge of it I think.
