Ritualist AB Build.
Hey all!
I'm kind of new to the Ritualist so I'm asking if anyone has a good AB build?

Go to pvx wiki and search there - my suggestion for AB is nightmare rit.

spirit strength warrior is also effective.
Killed many warior's with it.
Spawnning:12+1+3
Swordmanship: 10
Communing: 6+1
Restoration: 6+1
[skill]flurry[/skill][skill]Sever Artery[/skill][skill]Gash[/skill][skill]Distracting Blow[/skill][skill]Vital Weapon[/skill][skill]Wielder's Boon[/skill][skill]Spirit's Strength[/skill][skill]Wielder's Remedy[/skill]
[skill=text]Wielder's Remedy[/skill] can be replaced by [skill=text]Sight Beyond Sight[/skill]
And [skill=textl]Vital Weapon[/skill] by [skill=text]Resilient Weapon[/skill]
then make res 8+2 points, Resilient Weapon will last 13 second.
and[skill=text]Wielder's Boon[/skill] will heal 100hp.in stead of 79,
Another option is Weapon of Aggression at 6+1 channeling it can be kept up. but 10 seconds is short
but you can take another attack skill

wouldn't sun&moon trigger SS's bonus twice? in this case taking weapon of aggression would be best.

I played around with an SS Build the other day...I like Weapon of Agression, and it was surprisingly easy to keep up:
Rt/P:
[skill]Spirit's Strength[/skill][skill]Sight Beyond Sight[/skill][wiki]Weapon of Agression[/wiki][skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill][skill]Wielder's Strike[/skill][wiki]Holy Spear[/wiki][skill]Blazing Spear[/skill][skill]Merciless Spear[/skill]
Daggers/Sword would probably be better for AB mind you, I'm yet to try with daggers.
Another AB build I found fun was:
[skill]Grasping was Kuurong[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]Spirit Rift[/skill][skill]Essence Strike[/skill][skill]Resilient Weapon[/skill][skill]Weapon of Shadow[/skill][skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill][skill]Bloodsong[/skill]
The above could solo-cap most shrines. I never managed to solo the Ele Shrine with it though
The idea was to pre-cast Kuurong, so that if a Sin thought I was an easy target I could drop them, knocking him over, and cast Weapon of Shadow on myself before I finished him off.
With shrines, similar idea...Pre-cast Kuurong, stand just out of range of shrine, cast Resilient Weapon / Weapon of Shadow, Cast Spirit Rift, run in and drop Kuurong, cast Ancestor's Rage, repeat as necessary.
Finally, I ran a dual build with another alliance member a while ago:
[skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill][skill]Cruel was Daoshen[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]Weapon of Warding[/skill][skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill][skill]"Make Haste!"[/skill][skill]Resilient was Xiko[/skill][wiki]Agony[/wiki]
One of us used Agony, while the other used Destruction. Pre-cast Daoshen as much as possible and keep using "Make Haste!" on each other (at 6 command it can be kept up continually)...Idea was to run up to a shrine, cast spirits just out of range, pull NPCs/players out a little into range of Agony, run up, re-cast Daoshen (causing you to drop your current Daoshen), Drop the new Daoshen, use Ancestor's Rage.
It worked really quite well ^^

I'd say this is the best general template for a rit in AB, tweaked for however you like it. I was meaning to post it but couldn't remember it . When I used to play that I think I subbed glyph of lesser energy for essence strike and a speed boost for bloodsong.
Spirit's strength sin looks like this:
[skill]spirit's strength[/skill][skill]sight beyond sight[/skill][skill]vital weapon[/skill][skill]leaping mantis sting[/skill][skill]exhausting assault[/skill][skill]golden phoenix strike[/skill][skill]death blossom[/skill][skill]wielder's boon[/skill]
With plenty of room for variation. You can run the golden fox/fox fangs/nine tail strike for an unblockable combo, albeit one that won't kill anyone. You can run weapon of aggression instead of vital weapon, but then you're forced into taking golden lotus strike, which means you no longer have a snare.

Yea, Bloodsong sometimes feels a bit wrong in AB at the speed you travel. I should try GoLE, not sure why I didn't think of it before.
If you're going Rt/E though [wiki]Iron Mist[/wiki] is real funny! Not really a "team-friendly skill", but funny nonetheless.

I useually run a Rt/P SS build for AB. It's pretty fun. Similar to Beaver's, but I use:
Nightmare Weapon instead of wielder's strike
Barbed Spear instead of Blazing Spear and
Disrupting Throw instead of Holy Spear.
Since it's AB, everyone can bleed. And it's easy to reapply. And I like having an interrupt. Sometimes I'll use Ancestor's Rage instead of Splinter Weapon as well.
Also, you can get a mini-Al ignoring spike assist using Nightmare Weapon, a basic attack and Disrupting Throw.

I like life cause it may benefit your team somehow, but it makes you more a support char.
As for snares, Ice prison and its faction copy are really, really better options

I've been having a lot of fun with this recently:
[skill]ancestors' rage[/skill][skill]death's charge[/skill][skill]golden fox strike[/skill][skill]wild strike[/skill][skill]nine tail strike[/skill]Weapon_of_Aggression[skill]sight beyond sight[/skill][skill]spirit's strength[/skill]
Attributes: 11+2+1 Spawning, 10 Dagger, 10 Channeling
Weapon of Aggression lasts just over 15 secs with the bonus from Spawning.
Zealous Daggers help a lot. Also Ghost Forge insignias are useful since you're playing as a melee character. I use a Sup Vig, Major Spawning and 3 Attunement runes giving 525HP (with +30 from daggers) and 41energy (with +5e from daggers again).
To start cast Ancestors' immediately followed by Death's Charge, then hit your attack chain. Ancestors should trigger just as you step to them. Finish off with 1-2 normal swings if not dead, or running. Against blockers (rangers mainly) you can jump in as before but only use Golden Fox and keep swinging normally. With the dmg your normal attacks do they will quickly activate any blocking stance they have, then you cancel it with Wild Strike and finish your combo. Or you can just do your full combo to start with. If they do activate a blocking stance you'll only have a couple of secs to wait for Golden Fox and Wild Strike to recharge so you can cancel it. Despite what the skill description says above, Wild Strike cannot be blocked. Up to you really.
Even regular attacks hit for 35-50, depending of profession.
But as Dr Strangelove said there are loads of variants of a Rt/A build. I have 5 that i choose between, each performing a different function. The one above does a LOT of dmg to casters very quickly, usually killing them in about 3 secs from the first hit so if they don't run right away they're in big trouble. It can also do a lot of dmg against blockers, even if they might run before they die (but a lot will simply keep trying to kill you....and fail, lol). Other variants have snares, knockdowns, degen/conditions or simply massive dmg. Depends what you want to achieve.
One thing i would recommend with a Rt/A SS build is to bring a spawning staff, customized with a "Guided by Fate" inscription on it. You can still hit kiting players for 35-65 dmg (depending on profession) which can frequently be enough to kill them, or at least put a good amount more dmg on them before they get away. Saves you wasting your time trying to chase them down.

no support builds?
[skill]weapon of remedy[/skill][skill]vengeful weapon[/skill][skill]disrupting dagger[/skill][skill]mend body and soul[/skill][skill]blind was mingson[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]splinter weapon[/skill][skill]dash[/skill]
this build is good when using the team that has
1.)Frontline
2.)WoR SUpport
3.)Monk [zb,woh ect.]
4.)Optional
although it works without a monk but it is much more effecient with the monk!

support builds are hard to keep up in AB if you have a team that starts to spread then you're quite useless.

I don't play with guildies and you know how randoms teams are made in AB.
Therefore support/heal builds are ineffective, ts/guild team are effective yes.

You wouldn't.
However, there are times when you and your friends do get separated.
