Sword mods for a Ritualist?
I just got a free elemental sword, inscribeable etc, and I want to mod it for my rit to use. Does anyone know what the best mods for them are?

Zealous hilt. +30 HP pommel. +5e inscription. Go go Ursan Blessing.
+20% Enchanting pommel. +5e inscription. Go go caster weapon.

Weapons aren't enchantments...and there aren't enough enchantments to use for rit.

You kiddin' me? There are plenty of enchantments that are useful for a Ritualist. The Boon of Creation / Explosive Growth / Spirit's Gift trio could certainly benefit from a +20% mod. I feel there are better weapons for Spirit's Strength, although I will say that I have a +5e, +20% spear for when I decide to run such a build.
But why limit yourself to only Ritualist enchantments? What about other classes? Channeling, from the Mesmer? Jagged Bones / Death Nova for you minion bombers? Sliver Armor / Stoneflesh Aura for farming? Protection prayers? There are so many useful enchantments that Ritualists can use and that a +20% mod can help with.
It's up to the player to fully determine what's right for them, though. If you don't use enchantments very often, you might find that a +30hp mod would suit you better.
Regardless, it's up to the player. I was just offering options.
(If you don't have energy problems, the "Don't Think Twice" hct 10% or the "Let the Memory Live Again" hrt 10% would be good choices. The "I have the power!" +5e is fairly standard for a caster weapon though)

So he's supposed to swap between a sweet sword that he can mod for general PvE use to something less cool for everything else? I was giving suggestions for a general caster weapon setup that he can just put on his character and leave there, should he choose to.
How 'bout you actually offer up something useful instead of making yourself look like a pompous asshole?

Thanks guys..
Ill probably go 5e and enchants last 20% longer since I usually find myself with at least one enchant in my skill bar.
This weapon is mainly for aesthetic purposes only, Ill use it for casual olay and switch to a better weapon when I need to.
Anyway, whats the prices on those two items? I'm such a noob when it comes to prices.

There isn't a really good reason to not use +30 on a rit. Or you could say there are more reasons to not use the other mods available.
Hell I don't even use 20 recharge mods on foci anymore. +5 al all the way, and even that is when I'm not using a shield.
Like Divine says switching will be your best friend when you have the means to own them all, but if your limited, +30 is highly likely to better serve you...

hay guiz how do i swtch wepon?
Switch to enchanting weapon before using an enchantment
Stay in the +30 set so you don't die as fast when not casting enchantments
Might as well use a 20/20 staff with a 20% enchant anyway
Boon of Creation is 2 second cast
Explosive Growth is 2 second cast
Spirit's Gift is 1 second cast
Then you can mod a shitty sword for Death/Inspiration/Earth Prot.

While you might want to use +20% enchantments if you're running renewing memories or something, boon of creation and such last for quite a bit longer than their recharge, making a 20% mod marginal at best.
I've got a 10%HSR/+30 health spear for builds with good energy management, +5e/+30 health sword for builds without it, a +5e/+20% enchants sword for when I need it, and a zealous/15>50/+30 health axe for ursan.

I am glad there are still knowledgeable people out there. I thought my suggestion that 20% enchant is so marginally useful with one weapon set (and completely useless when considering a quick swap when needing to cast enchantments and switching back when not using enchs if you like the skin) is fairly obvious. Apparently not.
