Rt/A? Help Please.
Is it possible to have a Rt/A, using daggers, with factions-only skills? I know Spirits Strength is a big skill for these kind of melee rits, but is there a chance it will work without it?

You technically could...but theres absolutely no point without spirits strength. A Normal Assassin would outclass you all the way without it.

[spirits strength] is actually a decent skill.

The point of SS is fun. Should you ever get bored with the hybrid build, this is a good alternative. I'd suggest staying away from the frontline though.

Any damage that relies on an enchantment is bad.
It's good for shits & giggles though.

Make an assassin if you like to farm. With the recent [Shadow FOrm] buff, it's worth the time+gold.

not using [spirit's strength] with a rt/a for a dagger build does have some interesting possibilities. somone earlier mentioned [grasping was kuurong] and that'd be the elite to go with if you're avoiding SS
I used something like this in AB once, it was pretty fun
[grasping was kuurong][falling spider][twisting fangs][destruction][swap][rupture soul]
set up destruction outside of battle, let it warm up a bit run up to your target drop kuurong execute falling and twisting swap out for your destruction and blow it up in your foe's face. not overly sturdy or anything but a fun little trick to try

I would love to use grasping in my build

< - - no nightfall

oh, i also found this build...
[Splinter Weapon][Cyclone Axe][Ancestor's Rage][Cruel Was Daoshen][Spirit Rift][Gladiator's Defence][Defencive Stance][Sprint]
its for a rt/w, but could i replace gladiator's defence with VwK?

Ah dang, no nightfall that definetly puts a kink in the swap build I suggested. But the twisting fangs in that was just meant to put deep wound on the enemy just long enough for the destruction/rupture bomb to go off, lower max health meanss they're more susceptable to it.
I could see VwK working with that Rt/W build, if possible i would also take nightmare weapon along with splinter, along with VwK you'd have a fair bit of lifesteal, giving a lot more survivability. But that's just me

The problem with VwK is it'll render SW and cyclone axe useless. I'd say if you wanted more AoE go with [triple chop] as the elite and maybe add in [great dwarf armor] if available. With ghost forge insignias and a shield you'd have 107-115 AL depending if you meet the req for the shield. Maybe add a +5 armour mod to your weapon aswell. [mental block] could also be useful.
EDIT:
Just thrown together a build and tested it on the master of damage. As an AoE spike, it's pretty impressive. Took a few attempts to get the timing/order of skills right.
Anyway, this was supposed to be about Rt/A so, er.....yeah

*gasp
Even the shock axe [conjure lightning]?!
Still, Spirit Strength is begging to be hit by disenchants. Like [illusionary weapon], its only for fun and not competitive play.
