Jawdropping!
I saw this amazing build in AB today, it was a Ritualist who was actually an assassin, who just used the Rit points to help with his Sin skills, or summat. I remember Impale distinctly. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? XD;

Not really...It's lotsa fun and does pretty huge damage... It battles with nrg tho... Thing is, an Assassin Primary will get the job done better than the Rt primary...

Yes, its quite popular in low end PvP. They are easy to notice when they have awkward positioning and try to pretend that they are simply scurrying around before they pull some shadowstep and try to spike you.
I'm sure PvX wiki will have it somewhere, or at least the internet. There is a thread here in guru that has random RA builds that will have it. You'll have to search though.

It was a [spirit's strength] rit but SS builds are bad because youre a caster in the frontline and rely on an enchie that has long recharge and is well..and enchie so it gets stripped. Also lol at [Impale] that guy took a bad build and made it worse.

@ riktw, use [weapon of aggression] for better results...
@ Super Igor, this is AB we're talking about, very few smart players, just stay away from mes and necs... I had a mate monk for us once in an AB and he 4got to change his skills and armor from his 55ing set, so he enchanted up and charged into battle, he had 2 sins and a war francitally trying to kill him for like 5 mins, not one rend or anything... hehehe

It wasn't Spirit's Strength, you're a fool if you think it was. (That builds sucks, imo.)
It was the Grasping was Kuurong spike, a one time spike that can usually kill any class, sometimes before the end of it.
As I recall, it goes like this: Channeling 16, Deadly Arts 12, Dagger 3.
Nightmare Weapon, Grasping was Kuurong, Falling Spider, Horns of the Ox (OR Vampiric assault. Read below.), Impale, Toxic Shock Signet. (Insert two optional here.)
The point of this to use Nightmare Weapon, so the first three attacks steal 53 health per attack. Dropping Grasping was Kuurong causes an area knockdown, letting you use Falling Spider for 53 life stealing and poison. Which is than followed up by a dual attack. Either Horns of the Ox, for a double knockdown as you hand-feed them the spike. Or Vampiric Assault, for an additional 68 life stealing on your already current 159, (227). After that, Impale, for some great damage and the Deep wound condition. (By this point, they're usually dead. Or just getting up from the second knockdown by Horns of the Ox.) And to top it off, Toxic Shock Signet.
Let's do a damage calculation:
79 (Knock-down) + 53 (Poison) + 106 Knock-down -or- 174 + 85 (Deep Wound) + 82
This spike can be done in about four seconds.
With Horns of the Ox: A total of 405 damage (159 of it being life stealing), with two knockdowns, poison and deep wound. Which would immediatly kill anyone with 500 health, and under. (Not counting the poison damage.)
With Vampiric Assault: A total of 473 damage (227 of it being life stealing), with one knockdown, poison and deep wound. Which would immediatly kill anyone with 600 health, and under. (Counting the first second of poison damage.)

Very good insight. I didn't think it'd be a SS Rit either but was unsure of what it would be. SS Rits don't usually get a "Jawdropping" thread.

well, considering the op sounds like a new player it could be either of the above. actually I lean more towards some variant of [spirit's strength] as these are a lot more common. however it could also be that [grasping was kuurong] spike.
