2 man rit
yeah me a friend have been messing around with 2-3 man uw clears for a few days now. I run rit, he runs ranger, and we might bring a terra/perma for 2 quests.
i bring:
agony
bloodsong
vampirism
signet of spirits[E]
spiritleach aura
painful bond
mend body and soul
rebirth
he brings:
anguish
disenchantment
pain
dissonance
shadowsong
oath shot [E], or Weapon of Quickening[E]
spirit light
flesh of my flesh
ranger uses expertise to reduce the cost of the high energy communing spirits, and oath shot to recharge his skills. since he has the higher armor he goes first and triggers traps/pulls aggro while i remove conditions and we both heal each other. he might remove spirit light for spiritleech aura, but we are going fast enough that adding a bit of safety really isn't a big deal.
we are thinking of adding a terra/perma to speed up pools and actually do all the quests. the two quests that would require the terra would be unwanted guest and 4 horseman. everything else would be taken care of by the rit/ranger duo.
p.s. im sure with a good aggro management and cons we wont need the terra, but we are cheap and this is a farming run as well.

how are are ur spirits surviving without armor of unfeeling? usually mine die very quick without it
the resurrections could be taken out and res scrolls can be brought to add another skill for each
i think only one person should have a healing spell just in case, the players arent sposda take any damage, unless its from the pull.
i was using the two builds i had above with a friend and it went very well. faster than by myself and it was safer too with the large number of spirits
im not experienced in UW so i wouldnt know what to do with the quests and where to go and such so ive been farming the whole labyrinth just for ectos.
pm me in game and maybe we could try somethin out - Naldynrok Black

Optimal would be have a perma / tank / 55 that can take a beating and the rit place a spirit army group in range.
My suggestion - A spirit pooper can solo all areas of UW but it is a very long process. I guess since the spirits are a wall to deflect the attack. The enemies will sometimes ball up. I would be tempted to bring a Rit Splinter Barrager. The mountains that usually take forever would be much faster. And you would be able to pull targets into your wall of spirits and kill them from afar. Just an idea
Not saying more spirits would not help it would speed up killing
Just an idea.

well for me the spirits act as the tank and with a second player all the enemies pulled should be dead before u lose vampirism or bloodsong (my tank spirits) and if the enemies arent dead u can just recast the spirits and there u have a brand new tank ready for a beating. i dont think a third player is needed
splinter barrage is a good idea- could be R/Rt with a backup heal, and some spirits for more damage

My fiance and I have been running around UW with our rits for the past week or so.
He runs channeling:
Sig of spirits
bloodsong
vampirism
agony
painful bond
summon spirits
boon of creation
flesh of my flesh
I've been running communing:
Wanderlust
Pain
Shadowsong
Anguish
Armor of Unfeeling
Boon of Creation
Summon Spirits
Flesh of my flesh
We clear chamber, wastes, mountains up to plains, plains, pools, and pits. Basically anything that will drop ecto. We don't usually take any quests beyond clearing the chamber. It takes an hour or so, but it's fun and that's what counts. =)
This build is easily adaptable for a 3man team as well.
We 3 manned the other day. A guildie took my communing build and I ran resto with life, recoup, and rejuv to add more spirits to the wall we build. Was rather fun

Looks interesting. I will have to try this out with my Rit some time. Even on NM do Ectos drop all right?
