Most spirits are useless in RA. Or just damn too easy to rupt/kill and people can't use them wisely, call it what you will. Still, people insist to bring long-casting spirits, usually wasting both time and potential DPS/HPS.

However, if a rit brings decent DPS with a heal or two, he may be useful - if timing the blank aoe properly, bringing decent elite and utilising the heals in a supportive way for the main monk healer.
And Rit healers are useless in RA if their spirit is killed. The only way around that would be to rely on weapon spells for all heals. And I'm not sure how effective that would be.

The reason why, is most rits just copy/paste a supposedly "good" build instead of actually thinking about what they are doing. The sos build is a classic example... rits don't even thing about the fact that another rit might join, or that their spirits die in like 2 hits, etc. Same thing here... most rits just think "spirits" or "healing" and don't even realize how overpowered they really are. I use a Grasping was Kuurong build that basically kills anyone in 4 seconds. Ironically, no one says anything about me in pvp...

To me, people who quit in RA are assholes. If you keep quitting until you get a great team, how is that not match manipulation and how is that different from syncing?

I admit I am not successful in RA because I do it when I am bored and don't really even play GW much anymore. Also I try to think of crazy builds... but think of it this way, I've played enough RA to know that no matter what YOU personally do you can't really lead a team to 20 wins.

So, what? You assume you are the best and that it's everyone else failing? You bitch everyone out or you quit as soon as you see the professions? Or after one match...

To me RA was designed to be a free for all joke PVP where you just rolled the dice. I think it's funny that believe believe they are skilled at it when they just quit until they get the team they want. And with how bad some of the teams are when people don't quit... of course you are gonna get 20 wins!

I mean, if you don't run monk yourself you have a good chance of getting an absolute mish mash of professions with no strengths and it's just like "This is what we have, and we gotta see how long we can go."

That's how I look at it...
