Whatever the requirement is, if they don't reach it, they don't get the full def bonus. IF sunreach is a Tactics based shield(I can't remember), you can, however, if it's strength based you can't since strength is restricted to warrior primaries.

well you could wear the STR shield, but I beleive you only get half the armor?? so no point realy I guess
