Paragon Running Build
Has anyone come up with a good running build for a Paragon? Please share if you have. I've heard there's a decent P/R build for running but haven't seen it. Meanwhile, I'm looking through the skillsets on guildwiki for options. Thanks!

I dont see why people would want to run with a paragon. most classes could do it better. paragons have almost no energy without using leadership, and you definitely wont be using it as a runner. Dervishes, warriors, assassins, monks, and rangers are many many times better. try them instead.

If you're going to run just use a Warrior. Same armor level plus good running skills. You could maybe have a W/P but woudn't be as good as a W/Mo or W/R or even a R/W. I use my W/Mo for all my runs.

I have had good success in FOW chest running with charge...fall back...and the usual warrior skills that are brought....
...it only works well because you have a full team of runners...
but ya..for the majority of running...choose different prof.

@Coloneh - try running as a Mo/N. Doubt you can run.
@Kelly G - I haven't come up with a good runner, but:
Fall Back! - Command
Enduring Harmony - Leadership
Lead The Way - Leadership
Mending Refrain - Motivation
Storm Chaser - Wilderness Survival
Natural Stride - Wilderness Survival
Storms Embrace - None
Zojun's Haste/Dodge - Expertise (which doesn't matter)
You gain energy back from how many people are running with you (via shouts and chants).

^I've run everywhere with this:
P/W
Enduring Harmony
Fall Back
Charge
that's all you need Rest is up to you, and btw, saying running with P is useless proves the lack of creativity. It is very good for the healing gain from Fall Back.

Neither would I, but why not? Just take balanced and go for some fun challange instead of the wammo.

Okay, I've pointed this out before but I'll post an entire build. Those of you who think a warrior can run better are seriously mistaken. Warriors and Paragons have the same AR, they have the same energy regen, practically the same amount of energy but paragons have more potential to gain it back faster as they have leadership. In the end a paragon and warrior are at least on an equal playing ground for running.
The best runner in the game will have Paragon as at least a secondary profession. Why? For two reasons:
First, Fall Back! is the best running skill in the game and beats out even the elites from all the other character types. 33% faster (rather than 25 like most) and it heals you as you go.
Second, Paragons running skills are all chants or shouts. This is important because you can then combine them with stances that help you run. Try putting sprint on and then casting balanced stance... What happens? Sprint goes away. Then try casting Fall Back and Balanced stance, what do you get? A hella fast character, who is getting healed every step that cannot be knocked down.
P/W or W/P runnning build:
max tactics (sup rune here if Warrior)
max commmand (sup rune here too if Paragon)
rest in leadership
Fall Back!
Charge!
Balanced Stance
Never Give Up (for that energy regen you all were complaining about)
Never Surrender
Defensive Stance
Healing Signet
Last one? Mending refrain? Something else maybe watch yourself if you find it useful.
I am going to say that Watch Yourself is not a good choice because it is an adrenal skill and would take too long to charge up. I am slo going to say that in this build enuring harmony would not work as wel because this is a low leadership build.
With a superior rune in one of the attributes, Fall Back (did I mention this is the only running skill that heals you?) and Charge can be cast almost back to back. Because they are both shouts, the other stances can be used in conjunction. Paragons also proved the added help of Never Give Up for energy regen and Never Surrender for an extra Healing Skill.
THIS IS THE BEST RUNNER IN THE GAME.
Another thought: I have also used my paragon to do dual runs with Koss. He packs the charge and some other shouts + the regular stances, I pack the Fall Back and Other shouts and the same stances. It works even better if you don't have a dual run partner this can work. Although with the above build, it is hardly needed.

The reason I want to run with my Paragon, is because I want to run all over Tyria MYSELF. (my warrior was a runner...and looking at the skills, it looks like there are decent options as p/w and p/r). THanks for your input guys! BTW...for all you warriors out there....I tried an interesting version for run to sanctum cay.....(one area where you run into energy problems, and get hit alot)....balthazar's spirit....and you can add rush with that because of the extra adrenalin...it works well! Thanks again...and I like the paragon class, but probably not much for farming.

Mad5cout.....I like your build...and I was looking into something similar.....I at first didn't like mending refrain, but now think it would work well, and was concerned with energy management (but havent tried it yet)...I'll check out your build. Thanks.

Mad, last skill use: Soldier's Defense...for when Balanced Stance is down, it'll provide ya with a 75% chance to block for X seconds while under effects of a Shout or Chant

the 15 cost is abit D:
my favourite runner is my ranger. constant speed boost (33% and 25%) and +5health regen, continously.
70+10+8+5=93al vs physical
100+10+8+5=123al vs elemental
not good enuff for droks, but for everywhere else its great (and a fair bit faster than wammo)
can you run continously on the paragon build? i would of thought it would be too expensive..
its certainly good enuff just to run yourself about , i use my ranger to run friends and guildies about
