Default Paragon / Ranger AKA Furious Spear Chucker

Paragon / Ranger AKA Furious Spear Chucker

I used the following build with a lot of success in PVE “Solo with Hero’s and Henchmen”. Please review and coment if you would like. This build takes advantage of attack speed skill of Heket’s Rampage. With the increased attack speed you get quick charges for adrenaline skills which allows you to spam the shout Go for the eyes!

Beast Mastery 12 (At this level you get 10 seconds of increased attack speed and the skill only takes 10 sec to recharge)

Command 8 (At this level you get 54% chance of critical hit using Go for the Eyes)

Leadership 8 (This enables you to get 4 energy back for every time you use Go for the Eye’s)

Spear Mastery 7+3 Rune of Spear Mastery (Or enough to make your needed spear requirement)

Weapons Choice
1.Furious Spear
2.Vampiric Spear
3.Sundering Spear

1. Heket's Rampage - For 5...10 seconds, you attack 33% faster. This Stance ends if you use an attack Skill.
2. "Go for the Eyes!" - For 10 seconds, the next time each ally within earshot makes an attack, that attack has an additional 30...66% chance to be a critical hit.
3. "Stand Your Ground!" - For 10...30 seconds, all allies within earshot receive +24 armor when not moving.
4. Anthem of Envy - For 10 seconds, the next attack Skill used by each ally within earshot deals +5...17 damage against foes with more then [sic] 50% Health.
5. "They're on Fire!" - For 20 seconds, allies within earshot take 5...41% less damage from foes suffering from Burning.
6. Elite Focused Anger - For 45 seconds, you gain 0...120% more adrenaline.
7. Leader's Comfort - You gain 30...66 Health. For each ally within earshot, you also gain +10...18 Health (maximum 140 Health).
8. Signet of Return - Resurrect target party member with 5...13% Health and 1...3% Energy for each party member within earshot.

Depending on mission you can replace – Anthem of Envy with

Gate of Madness (Mission)
Wild Throw - If this attack hits, it deals +5...17 damage, and any Stance being used by your target ends. This attack cannot be "blocked" or "evaded."

Abaddon's Gate (Mission)
"Fall Back!" - For 4...9 seconds, all allies within earshot gain 5...13 Health per second while moving and move 33% faster. "Fall Back!" ends on an ally affected by this Shout when that ally successfully hits with an attack.

Before you Aggro start (Focused Anger) then attack and use (Heket's Rampage) Keep this stance up throughout the fight. Use ("Go for the Eyes!") when ever it is charged. Use (Anthem of Envy) once ready it is ready as well. Use (Stand Your Ground) once you are at a good energy level and can afford to use it. Same with "They're on Fire!"

so Im assuming you are bringing henchis/heroes that cause burning right??
otherwise [card]"they're on fire!"[/card] is useless

also... if you are gonna spread the attributes into 4 categories (not recommended)... I would sugest a few changes...

first off 12 beast mastery is pretty expensive for an extra 2 seconds (8 beast= 8 sec...especially since this is your only beastm. skill) which you could put into your spear mastery line to actually get max damage....(even with req 9 you are NOT doing the max 15-27 damage that a spear can do) It looks like the main thrust of the build is to do damage right? spamming GFTE? I would focus more on that purpose in mind....

hekets+focused anger+GFTE= great Idea...though

Why not just use aggressive refrain? This would give you the same IAS without having to recast it all the time, and it would allow you to put all those beast mastery points into something more useful.

[skill]Aggressive Refrain[/skill] only increases your attack speed by 25% while [skill]Heket's Rampage[/skill] is a 33% increase. But since you're already increasing your attack speed and GftE is your only adrenaline skill and only costing 4 strikes at that, is the extra ~80% adrenaline worth your elite?
