I won't say that it can't work at all, but in general I wouldn't put my money on [skill=text]Angelic Bond[/skill]. If your goal is to replace a monk you will fail miserably. If you want to support the monks, things like [skill=text]Song of Restoration[/skill] will be more useful in general to remove some pressure.

The advantage of the skill is for the main part that it can't be stripped like monk bonds and doesn't require upkeep, but it doesn't reduce the damage taken and can't be cancelled when you get too much damage all of the sudden.

In any case, if you want to use this skill it isn't a bad idea to tell the monks in your party that you will be using this skill, so they have an idea what is happening.

For build around it, I don't have clear idea's. Never really used the skill. But because it is in leadership you can use it with virtually any decent other skills to your liking and depending on the rest of the party/area, either with some spear tossing or shouting. I also can't quickly come up with some Paragon skills that have great synergy with it. Was thinking about [skill=text]Angelic Protection[/skill] for a sec, but that doesn't work well, because you can't cast it on yourself. Casting it on your bonding target is useless, because damage is taken first and healed after. It might keep your target up, but you will still get hurt badly. You will probably want to combine this skill with some self protecting/self heal so you can better keep it up on several allies, and combine that again with some energy management from the Paragon.

Added:

The end of your bar should probably look like this:
[skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Angelic Bond[/skill][skill]Leader's Comfort[/skill][skill]Signet of Return[/skill]
The first 4 skills can be some motivation shouts like [skill=text]Aria of Restoration[/skill], [skill=text]Ballad of Restoration[/skill], [skill=text]Mending refrain[/skill], and maybe another energy management skill like [skill=text]Energizing Chorus[/skill].
Or add the sunspear/luxon skills, or some spears attacks to your preference, ... anything really I would say.
Some protection prayer skills might work also, but might be a bit energy heavy and require a decent investment in attribute points.
Oh and you will probably want to max out your health: no superior runes except vigor

Works very nicely with Seed of Life, the Sunspear skill for monk.

You may also want to consider There's Nothing To Fear! to lessen the damage coming in, and They're On Fire! based on the rest of the team make up. Shield of Absorption isn't a bad idea if you're going /mo and are throwing a number of Angelic Bonds around (especially if you are going to use Balthazar's Spirit, you will have a lot of energy).

There was a build made a while back but as the wiki has been wiped i can't give u a link to it and it isnt in pvx wiki.

It used TOF,Blazing Finale,Shield Of Absorption,Angelic Bond,Balth Spirit,Leaders comfort,Signet of Return and something else i think.

I'd advise the above and additionally There's nothing to Fear (para SS skill). Glowing signet could replace Balth spirit if u dont have prophecies. Shield Of Absorption could be replaced by mending refrain. another variant for SoA may be "Stand Your Ground!" as it will reduce damage further.

If u are going to use SoA, bring the shield from the collector in Nundu Bay and a spear of enchanting and an "i have the power" inscription. Radiant insignia's on every piece of armour, a major leadership rune and lots of runes of attunement and the largest vigor u can afford.

That said, you will need alot of practice with this to bond more than one player altho bonding a tank should be fine aslong as the enemies attacking keep burning. SF party members will be a great help here.
