Default Life of a Paragon

hi, i have been playing a paragon sence the class came out. i used to love playing my paragon. i used to make a big difference in parties and made people see what the class is good for. i beat all three games, got my vabbin armor, maxed my pve only skills and have a nice collection of weapons.

after i did all i could do to build my paragon up i noticed some things. one was that my skills were starting to suck a lot (nerfing). i found myself not being able to use a lot of my moves because they werent worth using. most the the elite moves are not much better that the normal ones and they seem to be getting worse with every update. the second thing that hit me was that there is nothing fun to do as far as farming groups go. i really like being in groups and i like pve a lot. i find that no one wants a paragon in there group for farming high level areas.

kind of disappointed i thought that i can atleast try pvp and have some fun. that didn't turn out that great. i dont feel like paragon brings anthing to the table in pvp that another class cant do better. in RA people leave as soon as they see me in the group plus i feel im just like a longer range war and that doesn't make me feel the interested. motovation is not worth playing in pve so im not going to try. with out a team of atleast 6 people leadership isn't that nice and my shouts got nerfed so bad that there is no reason to use those either. all i can seem to do is try to combo the class with somthing else so i can do more with my spear.

i feel that Guild Wars has killed the paragon. i feel like they made a class that in the beginning was great but to make others happy killed it. balance is important and i agree that paragons shouldn't be gods in pvp but what about all the brave people that trained a paragon for counless hours in pve? i feel that a lot of people dont care about this because they dont have a paragon. i feel that there is no balance here. paragon sucks in pve and pvp where is the balance?

some say paragon is over powered because of shouts and leadership.
shouts can't be striped or interrupted. so? thats what maks paragons different. what i do think is over powered is people chaining shouts so they never go down. why dont the guildwars people just do somthing like "(made up name) prevents XXX amout of damage to any ally in earshot for 10 seconds. after 10 seconds the skill will stay up for 10 more seconds but does nothing. only one (made up name) can be hurd at a time." i might suck at making skills but you get the point i think. and to people saying leadership is over powered you are stupid. leadership is balanced. yes we can gain enough energy to cast none stop but only under the right condictions.

i like the class a lot but its not worth playing right now. does anyone feel the same way? does anyone see somthing i dont and disagree?

People say that the Paragon is overpowered because, in all- (or mostly-) Paragon teams, a bunch of AL 100 dudes spamming offensive shouts, defensive shouts and constantly triggering healing Finales and the like, ALL the while backed up by the very impressive Spear damage, IS pretty overpowered.

I quite like Paragons as an offensive damage-dealer/support character, dealing sweet DPS in the midline while buffing the warriors and dervishes with GftE! and the like. However, I do feel they shine most in organized, larger group settings

The truth (and shame, I admit... I enjoyed Motivation too ) is that Paragons really shouldn't be fully defensive/healing type characters, essentially a monk with unlimited energy and 100 armour is kinda broken.

You are grossly underestimating the worth of a mechanic that cannot be stripped in any form.

Leadership is far from balanced. Positioning yourself for the largest return of energy per shout is not that difficult.
