Damage paragon builds ?
Hi, I'm looking for a good paragon damage build.
It doesn't have to be limited to pure paragon skills.
I've looked through this forum, and while I find some good support builds, I'd like my paragon to do a little more damage and have a hard time getting decent DPS from him.
Thanks for any help and advice received.

Add an IAS, Gfte, 2-3 attack skills and maybe Focused Anger or For great justice. Last 2-3 slots should be support skills. I think thats the most dps u can get from a build. There is no point in adding more attack skills. And if u really want more dps play a war or sin.

Did I hear 7 heroes?

Focussed Anger really serves no purpose outside of Save Yourselves! as the better attack skills either require energy (Spear of Lightning, Vicious Attack, Harrier's Toss) or are elite as well (Cruel Spear, Stunning Strike). Blazing Spear is okay, the problem is everyone who plays paragon also seems to play with a Searing Flames hero (because they also use They're On Fire!). In which case the secondary effect is useless. Wild Throw has it's uses, but stance ending is not a critical aspect of PvE success. In which case, you're waiting to build 7 adrenaline for some additional damage; it's just not worth it. Merciless Spear I like on my heroes since they're pretty good with detecting the less than 50% and when I don't have a warrior around to give a deep wound.
Soldier's Fury is just bad as long as Aggressive Refrain is around. If the cracked armour is killing you then you're doing something wrong. Even when I do get attacked it doesn't matter because I'm pumping out Save Yourselves! and no one else is dying. If the monks can't keep me alive while I provide +100 AL to everyone else we were going to wipe anyway.
Anyway, something decent with damage dealing:
Aggressive Refrain
Go For The Eyes!
There's Nothing To Fear!
Anthem of Flame
Cruel Spear {E}
Vicious Attack/Wild Throw (depending on the area)
Spear of Lightning
Signet of Return
Spear Mastery: 12 + 1 + 1
Leadership: 12
Command: 3
I wouldn't use a command or leadership rune, they're not necessary. The +20 health you can gain from Vitae's is better.

If you've got some points with the Ebon Vanguard, Battle Standard of Honor basically makes all your auto attacks into a mini attack skills and fits the paragon theme by helping your friends too.

Focused Anger works amazing outside of save yourselves in the damage dealing aspect ever since gwen was released and two incredible ADRENALINE spear attacks were made.
Spear of Redemtion
Holy Spear
add a third attack skill with ok recharge such as spear of lightning, and then you have basically a power attack with every attack skill. Build I have used for awhile with no trouble is
Spear of Redemtion
Holy Spear
Vicious Attack
Go For The Eyes
Anthem of Flame
Focused Anger
Aggresive Refrain
Sig Return
Anthem of Flame is only there for between battles if your interested in keeping up your AR, otherwise you have gfte during battle. I myself let the AR drop since i regain full energy pretty soon anyway and dont need much to begin with. Yes I realize this paragon doesnt offer passive defense, but hero groups I generally take are full of hexer heroes and I found that I hardly take damage at all anyway when I flag everyone in well of darkness / ward v melee so I dont care much.

I generally use [card]Focused Anger[/card] and [card]Tiger Stance[/card] along with many adrenaline attacks (plus [card]Spear of lightning[/card]) when playing a Spear Thrower.
I used to have [card]Focused Anger[/card], [card]Tiger Stance[/card] and [card]Aggressive Refrain[/card] together a while ago, it owned, but now I never use Aggressive Refrain, I don't like how you have to maintain it (therefore slowing combat and travel down) as well as the -20 AR while it's in use (it screws up AI monks and I love my high AR).

If you don't need your adrenaline for anything really hungry like Save Yourselves! then Flail works well if your not too keen on AF anymore. It does tend to eat your AD also but it's essentially a 'free' Ias. Good with FGJ!.
Seriously though AF is fine as long as you have the shouts and are not in a party with hero/hench monks.
Soldier's Fury isn't really that great. Though I have used it on hero wars when I want them under constant Ias. (FGJ, Barborous>Gash/Dismember>Executioner's, Interrupt etc.). Not amazing but they seem do well with it.

You have many options open to you. For instance, you can go ranger secondary and use apply poison to have your spear attacks also cause degen from poison. If you bring a pet w/ you, there are several ranger skills that make you and your pet attack faster, and there's even the Sunspear one that increases attack speed and regens HP.
You could go necro secondary and take some curses that cause the enemy to take more damage from attacks.

Barbed Spear
Spear of Fury
Blazing Spear
Cruel Spear
"There's Nothing to Fear!"
"Save Yourselves!"
Enduring Harmony
"For Great Justice!"
I've been using something like this; can't quite remember exactly. I don't find the missing IAS too troublesome, with FGJ and Spear of Fury with me.

TIGER STANCE? Even Frenzy would be a better IAS. Good luck with your 4 seconds.
